Kee Wah Bakery, Cupertino CA

I had no idea their cakes are so good. The sponge is egg based and super light, and you can tell it's made fresh. The cream is light as well and not super sweet, which is a standard for Asian desserts. Not to mention they have really good cake flavors like chestnut and taro, and they use the real deal! It's not artificial at all, and they top it with glazed fruit.

Reliable place to get pastries. I come every other week if not every week. The loyalty program is also great because there are specials where you can not only get bonus food but also cute merch like panda aprons and chopsticks!

I purchase moon cakes here very first time. One of staffs helped me out which flavors I should choose.

Scary to buy a box of mooncake from Kee Wah store. The box was not sealed and when I opened it the next day, there were only two instead of four cakes inside. Called the store immediately and was allowed to get another box with 4 cakes. Luckily the cakes were not given to others as present and I was able to catch the error in time. For hygiene and safe guard against being stolen prior to presented to buyers, the mooncake boxes should be sealed despite the fact that it may cause extra manufacturing costs!

Their egg tart was super delicious fresh out of the oven! We were drawn by the aroma of the store at 10am on a Sunday morning and boy were we satisfied. Custard was light without being overly sweet, and the pastry was lovely and light and flakey. 2 for $5.50.

Used to have 2 bakeries in Milpitas now I have to drive 30min to Cupertino. Still worth it considering they make the best tasting cakes.

I went in with a lot of expectations but the food was disappointing - one of the factor could be we went 15 minutes before the closing time. The egg tarts felt like scrambled eggs and the base pastry was falling apart. The wife cake had a chewy texture, the lotus seed filling wasn't quite tasty either. They have huge variety of moon cakes, however all the 5 types we tried weren't quite good. The staff was in a hurry to close the shop.

Today I place pick up order thru Doordash successfully, and pick up in 6-10 minutes.
When App shows "The store is preparing your food, I quickly grab my Carley and start to drive my to store. While almost arrive the store, I receive the call from Kee Wah say they are running out of bread, and want customer me to cancel the order.

Anyway I come to store talk to manager, first they deny they don't confirm my order, second, they deny ask me to cancel order by customerself. Third，They laugh loudly while I leave.

Such bad attitude is unacceptable.

Authentic HongKong style bakery. Most of the stuff are made fresh on the same day. I wish they can open earlier in the morning so that I can have them fresh for breakfast and don’t need to buy them a day before.

Delicious sponge cake, pineapple bun and egg tarts! Sponge cake was light, fluffy and moist. Tastes great with a cup of tea:)

Kee Wah is my favorite bakery and it is super authentic. They have amazing gift boxes with egg rolls, Chinese cookies, and other snacks. Great for occasions such as Chinese New Year!
I got a pork floss bun and a coconut cream one- both were SO YUMMY. I ate them right away and was tempted to get more.

Visited during COVID - they don’t allow people in the store, products and baked goods are all wrapped and shown behind the cashier at the door opening.

Today we just bought some mooncakes, and when we got home we found they charged me extra 5 dollars for the item we didn't buy. Maybe it's my fault that we didn't check the receipt, but it's my first time since I have been here for more than 5 years. So, please check the receipt with the items you bought, don't let this kind of "accident" happened again.

Best Hong Kong style bakery in town! The crunchy pineapple bun is a all time favorite. The moon cakes are absolutely the best. I love their Napoleon, light, flaky and airy. The paper wrapped sponge cake are also a great snack choice also. The lastest addition croissants are amazing.

Best egg tarts in town. Other bakery items are also great, although a bit on the pricer side.
