Ill start from day 1 till now. Bought my 13 sonata 2.0T here the whole process buying was a breeze i had a guy named Robert Mai help me with my purchase who was really helpful and was patient with me. I was very satisfied with my purchase as well as with the service i recieved. My car was used at time of purchase so of course i added the 100k/10yr warranty because that only came with new car purchases not used car or so i was told. The reason for me giving this dealership a 4 star review instead of a 5 is because the wait times for vehicle servicing. Used to take my car in for oil changes but stopped doing so along time ago. Everytime i would go they would say it will only take an hour, that hour turned into 3 hrs and of course i would wait everytime in their waiting area thinking maybe this time they really are only going to take 1 hr, that was never the case. Same thing with vehicle recalls i would take the car and they would take longer than the time they would tell me. But they always took care of everything. Ive never had any mechanical issues with my vehicle since i purchased good thing my father was a mechanic for 20 yrs. He taught me everything about doing regular maintenance my self and some harder repairs. So that saved me tons of money. Oil, brakes and rotors, spark plugs, filters, etc which is all regular maintenance i know how to do. Now just 2 weeks ago this is where i was thankful i did purchase the 100k/10yr warranty i had a oil leak after i inspected the car i noticed it was around the valve cover so i was guessing it was the valve cover gasket that was no longer good. I didnt feel like doing this job at home so i took it to my mechanic who quoted me 250 dollars for the repair. Which was not bad knowing dealership prices was going to be like 3x as much. But i remembered i had the warranty so i headed over to keys spoke to a service agent and said my repair would be covered just had to pay 50 dollars deductible which i was totally happy about. Of course when i dropped off my car i took it in 9Am. They told me the repair was going to take 3-4 hrs. I didnt recieve a call until i decided to text my service agent at 4Pm. He then called me and told me my car was not ready i was going to have to leave the car overnight which i did. Car was ready following day they did a good job repairing. I dont think i have ever been treated unfair by anyone here but the wait times are horrible which is why they get a 4 star rating from me. Yes, i would recommend keyes hyundai just get a ride home when leaving your car for servicing.

Chaz (the salesperson) and Jason (the finance manager) were both fantastic! They were able to deliver exactly what I wanted and made the process quick and easy.

I found the car on TrueCar.com; a website for military, first responders, and other state/federal employees. I worked with Chas, the True Car rep at the dealership, Talmur, and Imraz (finance). Chas and Talmur went above and beyond. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Talmur went over my credit report, the offer from my bank, and the offer from the bank that works with the dealership. We weighed out the pros and cons together. Imraz explained everything in detail and made sure I understood my payments, gap insurance, and perks. Together we made great decisions and I was able to drive off the lot with a 2020 vehicle.

All Covid safety protocols were followed. I felt safe at the dealership.

Thank you again for all your help. I love my car!

The service was very fast. I like that they text you with any findings and/or possible additional items to possibly add to the service.

The work was correctly done, and the service personnel were polite and friendly. But it took a long time to finish, and the service advisor did not keep me abreast of the time delay. I finally reached out to him via text and he let me know that it would be a few more minutes. It took another hour to get the car.

While a few sales people such as George and Tim are wonderful to work with, overall the sales service department needs much improvement!

Customer service also needs work! Lots of work!

My service advisor, John Shaw, was very helpful and knowledgeable. John walked me through all of the work done on my car and had the car ready when promised. Collecting my car was easy: I was in and out of the service department in less than 10 minutes.

I went to Hyundai to finance my first car. It was the most exciting and privileged experience to believe my hard work would pay off as an essential worker for Kaiser Permanente during the covid-19 pandemic. I believed that despite the reputation of car sales people, I would find honor and honesty at Hyundai to guide my search for the right car I was looking for.
Carl Fisher was the salesman that managed my experience. At first it seemed perfect. I felt that Carl Fisher truly wanted to find the car I wanted, with respect, honesty, and transparency. Despite the red flag of warning me the car I might desire would get bought during the 'weekend rush' so I should make a decision fast, I assumed he was telling the truth. I told Carl Fisher my top priority in a car was 4-wheel independent suspension, because I extremely desired my car to have a smooth ride. Carl Fisher told me the Elantra 2020 Value trim was the first of its model and trim to receive a 4-wheel independent suspension. I assumed he was telling the truth as I asked him before to check and make sure it was for me. After Carl Fisher and I discussed payment it came down to signing papers. As Carl Fisher placed the forms in front of me, holding the paper and lifting up each page only enough to see where to sign, I assumed the details discussed remained true; 8.5% interest for 6 years.
I was all set. Happy with the Elantra 2020 value trim here was the details I endes up with.

10.5% interest, 6 year finance, 27k car value, $500/mo.for a 2020 elantra value trim. 10.5% interest.

I then realize the most amount of cars you have are the elantras. A very slim chance of running out.
Second I realized the car didn't even have 4-wheel independent suspension.
Third I realized after going through the documents at home, I got 10.5% interest.

I realized then I made a huge mistake. I bought a lemon from a lying manipulator, ie.a car salesman. My experience came crashing down.
I'm honest to myself. I knew I should've never believed anyone despite the facts. I should've knew a salesperson would lie and manipulate; trick with a smile. I was foolish to not be more vigilant and take the red flags for what they were, red flags. I was foolish to trust Keyes Hyundai. I figured the salespeople get commission anyways, so why would they finagle a sale? I came to Hyundai for a reason, to buy a car. I just wish it was the one I actually wanted.

To conclude, it was my fault that I was taken advantage of. I'll never suggest Hyundai as a car to buy. My relationship with Hyundai will forever end once my finance is complete. Six years with a lemon. I believe in loyalty. Given a respectable experience I would've suggested Hyundai forever to friends and family. As I have kids, I would buy them Hyundai for their first cars, which would've in turn possibly led to them buying and suggesting Hyundai in their futures. This will not be the case. You have lost me. Carl Fisher has caused you to lose a life time customer.

Despite all of this, I love the car. I love Hyundai cars. I just wish the experience of buying it wasn't completely tainted by Carl Fisher.
Never again will I step foot in Hyundai dealerships. I work hard, I have dreams and goals I'm getting closer to everyday, I want a family, a home, to be a vital member of society as an agricultural bio-chemist and electrician. Yes I'm not as important as your executives and investors, but I'm the majority of who you sell to, who bring you more business to come.

Car shopping is one of my least favorite activities. With that said, my experience at Keyes was smooth and easy from start to finish. Ruby Chu listened to my questions and concerns and was very responsive without being at all pushy. I secured my deal over the telephone and when I went in for my appointment, everything was exactly as promised. I feel I got a great deal on my new Tucson and the process was painless. This is my 3rd Hyundai Tucson and I couldn't be happier. Thanks to everyone involved.

Tried to charge me 700+ dollars to get my steering wheel button replaced since they didn't work, thought it was the clock spring that needed replacement but found out myself that it was just a fuse that needed replacement. I did the fuse replacement in 2 minutes myself and even my radio buttons also started to work again. They kept trying to get me to pay for something I didn't even need. Next time I'm buying a tesla so i can avoid having to deal with dealerships anymore.

Buying a car at Keyes Hyundai was truly a pleasant experience (and buying a car is almost always not a pleasant experience). The people at Keyes Hyundai made promises by phone about how the price of the new car would be calculated, what the experience would be like and their ability to get the car we wanted, and they carried out all three promises flawlessly. No high pressure, no haggling, just courtesy. What a pleasure. When it took a little longer to get the car, because they had to dealer trade for it, they assured us that they would get the car we wanted and they delivered the car to our home and provided us with a detailed lesson on how everything worked. I highly recommend Keyes Hyundai.

What a huge and big gigantic fail for the sales team at Hyundai Van Nuys. Literally no one at the dealer besides myself and the only sales lady was the most helpful out of all the people.

The guy assisting me was clueless and didn’t know what cars they had on the lot. What’s the point of calling a customer to come out there when you tell him when you get there that go to another dealer.

Absolutely terrible service and terrible manager. Keyes needs major revamping or will most likely not sell much anymore. No wonder they are missing a 2020 banner. Salesman are absolutely terrible.
