0 star. They’re not helpful. Both dr and front desk. Front desk is so rude.

She is very compassionate and good human being. She is a very good Dr as well and knows her professional responsibility and is continuously learning latest in her field.

Office was small, there was absolutely no way we were six feet apart while I brought my father in law for his memory problems to his last known PCP. Little did I know, the front desk is completely incompetent, decided instead of just accepting our out of payment like every office I’ve ever been to, they decided to shame my father. Would not even listen to a word we said. I did not personally get to meet the doctor, but he went in with a legit, confirmed hernia on top of his major depression caused by his memory loss. She dismissed everything he said, asked questions so fast not even a normal non-dementia patient could keep up. Essentially, if you’re uninsured they will treat you like scum. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone, and ironically, I was assigned her by Alameda Alliance and I will be switching immediately. The whole experience was devoid of compassion.

If I could give her 0 Stars, I would. Had a horrible experience coming in with my father with dementia and medical complications from it.

DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR IF YOU HAVE NO INSURANCE OR YOU OR A LOVED ONE HAS MEMORY LOSS, ALZHEIMERS, OR DEMENTIA

1 - the desk staff was incredibly rude
2 - my father didn't have insurance so we paid out of pocket and we were repeatedly shamed for it (we spent 3 hours on the phone earlier that day trying to sort out insurance, explained this multiple times and where we were in the process, they never listened)
3 - Dr. Khade does not know how to communicate with people with dementia or memory loss. She asked rapid-fire questions at a rate normal people would have trouble understanding, let alone someone with dementia. It's like she didn't want him to accurately answer her questions.
4 - She had ideas for a treatment plan, but barely explained what the process would entail, only that it would be impossibly expensive without insurance
5 - She very condescendingly explained to us what Medi-Cal is and that there are ways that exist to pay for treatment - the last time my dad saw her he HAD Medi-Cal, and this would have shown in her records.
6 - the enforcement of COVID safety guidelines and social distancing was inconsistent. There is no way anyone sitting in the lobby could have sat 6 feet away from each other. Yet, when my father was in the appointment, and tried to push his chair closer to be able to hear what Dr. Khade was saying, she told him he couldn't because of social distancing. She had to get closer to him to perform an examination anyways so the logic behind this doesn't make sense to me.
