Kids and Teen Dental Place, Van Nuys CA

The Drs.are very savage especially the dark one (don’t know her name) the Chinese one makes you feel guilty if your kids have cavities. Warning if you are late even by 2 minutes like I was, they make you wait as a punishment and if you ask, why are you waiting for a long time they will tell you “ oh is because we are short in staff”. I waited for like 2 hours and they will keep on passing other patients except us, so I walked out. It did not only happend to me I had witnessed from other parents while being in the Office. If you are in the valley I recommend Children’s Fun Zone 100 times better!

After so much searching for someone to take care of my little one. I found the best doctor, not only because of how she talks to him but the treatment she gives them is of the best quality.it was worth the search and what can I say about her assistants Ash and Lupita are the best but the staff is very good. I recommend it for your children.

Dr. Phan & the whole staff are the best! Carlos & Dr. Phan made my son feel comfortable and calm throughout the whole procedure. This is the best dental place for kids.

We made an early morning appt so there wouldn't be a wait and we still had to wait over 45minutes.

The dentist and his assistant came across as being in a hurry and the dental hygienist who cleaned my little one's teeth was in such a hurry, she didn't even clean the plaque off.

The place is adorable and does keep the kids entertained, however the staff behind the desk and those behind them, and there are a lot of staff, just stood around talking with each other and seem non-caring with and to the children. The waiting room was so full of parents and children, we could barely get out of the door. Additionally, people were waiting outside of the building to get into it. They definitely overbook their patients here.

Life is just too short for such poor service, we will not be going back here. I do not recommend.

They take up to an hour and a half to serve you, because they make so many appointments at the same time, I hope they don't give the doctor a discount, since they don't do their work on time and waste people's time

Dr Phan is very gentle, communicates very well and is a very good explainer. She explains all the processes and goes with what you feel is most comfortable. She knows exactly what it is she is doing and she does not disappoint. I’m not sure when Dr Phan started but this dental office was very different before her. Love Dr Phan. Highly recommend her.

The lady that attended me was pretty nice. Friendly environment. Would recommend to come to.

My appointment was at 2: 30 and I'm here and it's 4: 30 my appointment for 6 months for a cleaning and the organization is too bad they should improve because there are too many people for one doctor.

Carlos and Dr. Phan were wonderful. My 4 year old son was relaxed and was not it pain during his root canal and filling.

My kids had a very good experience, everyone that works there is pleasant and Sandra especially. I recommend this place! Dr. Phan was amazing and very gentle when it came to my son. Thank you

This is a great place for kids. All staff is so professional. My daughter's doctor is Dr. Linh who is very knowledgeable and so nice with kids. Nurses are also the best.

8 years with them and I am so happy to trust my children's health in this professional and so nice dentists.

Dr. Phan and Carlos are excellent professionals that know exactly what they are doing. They took care of me and made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. Fantastic beside manner and the end result was more than perfect. My two front teeth were really messed up but Dr. Phan and Carlos made them practically brand new. The facility is so friendly and welcoming and I recommend to everyone! 100000/10

Apart from the fact that it takes two hours to treat you, the doctor who treated my son got angry because she couldn't open my son's mouth and he was doing it badly by modulating his mouth and his head very badly and I told her to stop, she didn't understand me and I touched her hand to tell her to stop trying to wipe her mouth so badly and she hit me and she slapped me and told her why she hit me and I repeated several kisses asking her to let go and she wouldn't let go and She said, I know it's her job but she has to do it with manners but it wasn't like that with my son she misbehaved I think she was stressed because my son was crying and crying and she wouldn't let herself but she studied for that she must have patience He is dealing with children and the assistant nurse didn't help at all. They are supposed to be there to help and translate both the doctors and the parents and they didn't help at all, very badly.

I was overcharged $546 cash and it is 3 weeks later and I still don't have a refund. I have spent way to much time calling the office to try and get this done and they are very slow administratively and it is very hard to get through to the office when you call.
I was told my daughter needed 3 root canals and they started the procedure on her but made me pay (I am a cash paying customer) right after administering the general anesthetic. After paying for all 3 root canals it was discovered one tooth couldnt be saved and needed to be pulled instead. They said they would have the front desk recredit me the $546 that I over paid. When I went to the front desk the office manger Josie told me that it would take 3 days to issue me a refund. This was 3 weeks ago and instead of issuing me the refund they have made it a very lenthly process and said it would be 3 more weeks before I would have the funds refunded back.

Horrible wait, it seems like an emergency hospital and a saturated public daycare. I ran because they never attend, my appointment was at 4 and it was 5: 30 and nothing. They attended to some who arrive later, I don't know what that preference is. Maybe they are new patients and to sweeten them, the first time.and more and more patients arrived at 5 in the afternoon.and I asked her why because of so much waiting. I'd better go, I told the woman to do well. She told me sarcastically.she had another mistake, telling me herself to register my son with only the 2 surnames. And obviously it never appeared, I knew it was by entering the full name, but I said maybe it's a new policy. It was his partner who said no, give him a name too. So ugly case.
