Really enjoyed our stay here, but like every other hotel I've stayed in whenever I'm in the USA (I'm from Australia), why don't you have a microwave/kettle in every room? Happy hour was great each day. Not so sure about the record player in the room? No need for it. Resort fees to include that? Hmmmm Staff friendly and helpful. The Philippine restaurant (Abaca) was great, the food excellent but the pricing was a touch expensive.

Superb location, clean room and spacious. Never in SFO have I ever slept so quietly. Nice place to relax and enjoy your vacation

I’d rate this as a 3 star motel. We paid top dollar $350 USD because it coincided with the APEC summit but in my opinion, it is worth $200 at best. It’s located in a dead part of Fisherman’s wharf, with plenty of homeless drug addicts at the doorstep.

We arrived and checked in, only to find our room key failing after the 1st use. They changed the key 3 times and had the repairman come fix the entry door as well. One lady at the front desk was not very apologetic, they did not offer anything for the inconvenience or a room swap.

The hotel rooms were also pretty much bare compared to what we were used to. No coffee machines, kettles, mini bar.etc
You can request for a coffee machine (they ignored my first request) and it’ll cost you a tip to house keeping for bringing it to you and if you ask for teas, they have a pretty confused look on their faces and unsure of what teas they have available.

We only received house keeping 2 days out of the 4 that we stayed, we left our rooms around midday only to return to find that our rooms weren’t made up, other hotels would have mentioned it or checked in to see if we wanted to get it done later in the day. I understand they were fully booked so probably too busy run off their feet.

Morning coffee and happy hour drinks and dj was ok, unfortunately their lobby was too small to feel like a cool place to hang.

All in all, I would probably not return mainly due to the price I paid and the expectation I had of this hotel. The staff were friendly enough but not overly great with their service.

If you can get a room here for a reasonable price (typically by booking well in advance), do it! This is a swanky hotel that can be had for a great price with some patience. I stayed 4 nights in September when I visited SF for the first time. I spent very little time in the room. The location is great if you want to be close to Fisherman’s Wharf, but I decided it wasn’t for me and will probably stay closer to the city next time I visit. It was really nice to have a decent, clean room to return to after each day spent in a vibrant, interesting, and *very dirty* city. However, the shower was disappointing. Every time I used it, water pooled up in the bathroom due to the lack of a proper screen. Other than that, the room was excellent.

Brilliant hotel in a brilliant location, the record player in the rooms is a brilliant gesture to - with a brilliant variety to hire out free of charge from hotel reception - highly recommended all the way from England

Great location! Wonderful staff! Lots of surprising events such as a dj from 5 to 6pm with free drinks in the lobby. An opportunity to socialize and chill before the evening

I am a very regular travellers who is in hotels at least once per month. I would not recommend this hotel based on service, quality, amities and price.

Rooms are large but as a two year old hotel, they are already in need of a repaint. There is a constant smell of drugs and the shower does not have wash away quickly, causing flooding. Beds are comfortable and room is serviced daily.

The biggest disappointment about this hotel is the facilities. You are charged a ridiculous guest amenity fee for nothing. There is no bar, you have to sit in the lobby. No room service or mini bar. Also the inclusion of breakfast is your rate is not accurate. I had breakfast included in rate but was given a $25 voucher for the day. This was not enough to cover breakfast, as an example a coffee was around $5 and a breakfast with toast, eggs, and fruit was $23. Plus tax, you will go over this allowance daily. (This is an edit following the hotels reply. To confirm it was $25 a day, there were two guests in the room making a total of $50, $25 each. My point still stands and another example of hidden cost.)
I am a member of this brand and had no perks, upgrades or late check out when requested. I am also a Hilton diamond member and will without doubt be returning to Hilton. I have never paid $280 for a late check out there (this was later negotiated to $150, still a ridiculous charge).

Would not recommend.

Don't forget to take a vinyl record to your room from the front desk. Nice touch:) not the most modern rooms.

The hotel was not very friendly or accommodating. We booked through our AMEX and it was not cheap. The hotel could not offer late check out even though we requested in advance. The rooms did not have any coffee available and when we called the front desk and asked if they could send coffee up they said "NO". It is hard to believe that as guests paying good money we could not even get coffee. The lobby did not start serving coffee until 7 am and our plans started at 6: 30 AM.

What a great hotel fabulous location near Fisherman’s Wharf SF, all staff are lovely & pleasant, there is coffee or tea available in the mornings free of charge, free drinks (glass wine, API or fruit juice) between 5pm - 6pm, cold ice water throughout the day in reception. Our room was very clean, big & spacious the bed was so comfy and serviced everyday. There’s a small gift shop selling soft drinks & sweets. Lovely atmosphere around the hotel would recommend this hotel to you all.
