Kim's Home Center reviews
19I have been visited there at least a half dozen times before. First of all, the parking lot is on a war zone space. You have to get into almost a fight to get to be parked. You have no room for a midsize or full size auto. Staff or salesmen or saleswomen on the floor or counter shows no signs of any welcome for the customers to the center. They just watch you. No hello or ola, or hi or how do yo do? Originally, this place name was literally "Kim" Electric" (김스전기). Now this home center is comparable to 99 Cents Store. I wouldn't recommend this home center to visit. You can't return your items like Costco. If you need any home stuff, just go to Walmart or Target or Costco. Costco stands behind their products and they ask "no questions whatsoever" if any chance you have to take back your purchases. I like Costco or Mercedes or Lexus or Toyota quality.
The selection of cooking items is good all though I did not find what I was looking for. Only thing wrong was how there security was kinda uncomfortable. All bad
Plenty of household items. Anything you ever possibly need is in that store!
Electronics, pots, blankets, underwear, skin care products, and the list goes on!
I handed out $2 at a register last Saturday, and I wasn't sure if handed out $2 or $3. I've asked the cashier to confirm how much she got from me. Instead of confirming, she basically threw the dollar bills in front of me on the counter to say I gave her $2. This is extremely rude! This place needs a serious improvement dealing with the customers whether the purchase is small or large. I felt humiliated beyond impression.
When I went to Kim's shop, I met really nice helper. And I found out later that she was the owner's mother. It was very nice and happy to speak with her.
They follow customers as if they were going to steal the things they sell and that makes us feel very uncomfortable badly from employees we are not thieves to follow us everywhere
Always my favorite place to shop. Great price and selection and good service for most of my home needs.
Great prices and many sundry items to choose from. The overall cleanliness is good but can be improved.
One of my favorite stores. It gets a bit crowded, which is a good thing, I'd be a little concerned if it wasn't.
It is mostly caters to Korean lifestyle, and that's probably as close to Korea as I'll ever get.
I like coming here since I will always leave with something, whether it's a face mask, or slippers or a rice cooker, etc. It's always a new experience.
You can find a ton of useful stuff here. Primarily catering to the Korean household, but there is something useful here for everyone. They have many departments, like kitchenware, supplements, electronics, bedding, etc.
They also seem to have reasonable prices. I've bought many things over the years here, like a travel French press, glass containers, etc.
Parking can be difficult, but they have employees there to guide you into one of their parking lots.
Tiny Korean Ikea that I'd somewhat of an icon to Korean Americans. Fantastic selection of rice cookers and kitchen supplies.
I went to buy a headphone but they only had cheap $6 earphones and $10 headphones. They used to have a decent electronics section but now selections are limited. Everything else, I guess the same. Everyone working here are in a rush. Don't have too much time for each customer.
Awesome place to buy houseware, very good prices on lock n lock, parking is difficult on weekends though
I love to go to this place once a while to find out any new stuff. Korean government subsides the business to invent things. So, I go there every few months.
You can find anything you can imagine related to kitchen and bedroom stuffs here. Particularly, you can get Korean electronic appliances (rice cooker, broiler, etc) in 110v. Staffs are welcoming but not greatly knowledgeable. Parking gets crazy in busy times but parking staffs are very helpful.
Fun store with lots of goods. We were visiting from out of town and found some fun things here.
This place is fun! It's good for Korean people of course but good for Japanese people too.
Because they sell many famous Japanese name brand things lol
Like hair iron rice cooker pots.
It was big help for me!
Awesome place to get Korean made products, have always seen their advertisement on TV and it was a blast to finally be able to make it. Parking is crazy, there are 3 lots and each one has a parking attendant that will wave you in or away if it's full. Otherwise it was a great place to get nice soft blankets and Korean affiliated products.
Every time I visit Korean town, I will stop by. It's like treasure hunting, I always find something new and useful, the price is the best part.
