King Buffet reviews
21Everyone is friendly and the food is great. The only thing is that the tables were a bit too small for 5 adults and one child. Other than that, no complaints.
Everything was fresh and there were so many options, and the seafood options were especially good. There were lots of employees around cleaning at all times and taking plates, and everything was nice and clean. The price was amazing too. We'll definitely come back.
The food was gross. No effort was put into the making of ANY dish. I’m sorry even the fruit was dry…. Do not recommend but if you do go please take some tums.
The lunch buffet price is a little bit too high. They don't have enough seating for small parties of 1-2, but the food is good and there is lots of variety there.
So, so disappointing. We (party of 4) went in over an hour and a half before close and everything was room temperature and not fresh. It was busy and more food was being put out all the time, my family would jump up to get the fresh stuff but nothing was hot, some of it wasn't even warm. I got fresh mussel with cheese that I watched come out of the kitchen and put it to my lips before even sitting down to see how hot it was, and it was lukewarm. My mom got a dough bun right off the plate just as a fresh steaming batch was put out, and it was barely warm. My salt and pepper shrimp, which is a slightly battered food item that should be hot, was cold in the middle. I tried a little bit of everything they had and it was all old akd cooled off. Nothing here is fresh or cooked well enough. Even the egg drop soup was room temperature, not hot which is pretty gross. This place is too expensive to be so lazy with their food. This was last weekend. Never coming back. Staff was nice and the place was clean but I'd rather have rude staff than bad, possibly old food.
Food was bland, seemed under cooked, overall bad experience and terrible food would not recommend coming here the price was cheap but so not worth wasting money
I have come to accept that there is a certain level of quality that I have to universally anticipate amongst all buffets; And that's not all selections will be top notch, but they will have their specialties that make it worth going. Some exceed that expectation, King Buffet didn't. The meals that this restaurant is supposed to specialize in aren't the best as far as taste goes. Dessert options were generic too; Standard ice cream machine and trays of Jello with wafers. Occasionally there is a uniquely featured meal, but for the most part, this establishment is "adequate" at best.
It was good but the lemonade is watered down and also some of the food is very plain. Many choices of food. The icecream was very watered down. Overall not that bad but don't expect much.
We were next to the windows the blinds and floors were so dirty. The food was not that great, the soda fountain was pouring water instead of lemonade. When employee was asked about it she was rude and just walked away. I would never go there again.
The food here is excellent. And not for a bad price. You can eat as much as you want and there's ice cream and other deserts afterwards. Yum.
Utterly disgusting! I can’t believe I wasted $15! The food was horrible and the setup of the food was horrendous! I felt like throwing up right after! Do not recommend at all! Very disgusting! Please do not bring your family to this so called restaurant! If I can rate any buffet 0 stars, this would most definitely be it! Disgusting. I am furious, this should be considered a crime, selling food this horrendous.
I will never go back there the stsff is rude many of the food bins were empty there were no bowls for the soup the soda machine was given water I told the waiter nshe said nothing was wrong with it and the place was super dirty and the blind were so dirty it looks like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I can imagine how dirty the kitcken must be.
Carpet is nasty and it smells. Everything you see is dirty. Not a lot of food. Not cook well. No flavor. Bunch of annoying kids
Ok, but not really worth it.
Went for lunch, prices appear to be the same for lunch and dinner now, coming out to $16.65 for one adult.
Food - mediocre. Disappointing examples - the "fried noodle" which is supposed to be chow mein (?) had regular spaghetti noodles instead of asian noodles. Pretty tasteless, and strange texture. The sliced cucumbers, a buffet staple, were very thickly sliced, but also dried out and weird texture, as though they had been sitting a long time. Not fresh at all. A lot of diners were enjoying whole plates full of the salt and pepper shrimp, which were pretty tasty.
The "sushi bar" had only a few choices, like California roll, Alaska roll, volcano roll, yoyo roll (?). Did not look very appetizing.
I liked that they had aguas frescas as beverage options, horchata and jamaica.
First time going and had a wonderful experience highly recommend trying out the food it’s freshly prepared and even minutes before closing they clearly have passion on what they do! Not only that but my wife is a picky eater and she ended up eating everything.
We went during Father's day, and there was a definite upcharge, which I totally understand. High demand!
What I didn't appreciate is that their ice cream machine was down for "cleaning, " but was closed even before we walked into the buffet. There were other deserts, but nothing I personally like. So, I didn't have desert. They were also out of their egg drop soup for more than 10 min, that's a high in demand product, and should have been switched out sooner. I believe their was just a lack of preparation for the amount of people, but it did have an impact on our current visit.
Other than that, they have pretty good food. A variety of seafood, chicken, veggies and noodles.
A lot of variety, however, the quality is lacking. The noodles are basically spaghetti. No flavor and pale. The orange chicken was cold on the inside. Overall it was hit and miss. It was $47 for 2 adults and 2 kids under 7 on a Saturday
The food wasn't as good as I wish it would be. Too greasy and not enough taste. Plus they didn't honor my bariatric card when I showed the cashier
This buffet's big draw for me, has always been the wide variety of dishes they offered. Since Covid restrictions have hit, then they reopened, they've apparently had to cut back on the number of dishes. They're doing the best they can, I guess, with the limited occupancy they're having to deal with. I'll eat here again, probably pretty soon too.
Food was not good. Chow mien was terrible. Wife and children got sick from the food. Do not recommend and can only give 1 star.
