King City Police Department

I was getting off work at our new facility on San Antonio Dr. It is in a warehouse district around 11 o’clock at night. Just after crossing the railroad tracks I was pulled over by King city police officer. He said I ran a stop sign. That area is very dark and not well lit and I didn’t see any other cars around. I didn’t see any stop sign. I hold a commercial drivers license for a transit agency.even though I explained that I was new to the area and it was not very well lit he wrote me a ticket anyway. While he was writing me the ticket I noticed another police car drive-by. After a long wait, I received my ticket and pulled away. I noticed another police car in front of me. He turned his lights on and pulled over a white truck driving through the neighborhood. I immediately asked myself, what is going on? There were police cars everywhere pulling people over at random. I saw another car pulled over by the 101 freeway on-ramp. My guess is that they go out in packs writing tickets to make ticket quotas.

We had an incident at our home and the officers responded in a way where we felt like they were truly concerned and helped us take the right path in a resolution for the incident. When we have called the non emergency line, the KC PD has responded in a timely manner and have resolved the concern for the call.

Our second call took almost 30 minutes to respond, and for a small city, that was an exceptionally long time. I understand that we called on the non emergency line, however City ordnance and/or quiet hours is 10pm. I feel like I gave the neighbors the benefit of the doubt to close it up for the evening...

I want to thank king city pd for the officer who was sitting on Bitterwater rd in the city limits today:) bless your heart. Bitterwater rd has turned into grand central station. Big rigs back and forth most of them driving WAY to fast. So to see you guys out there was a really good feeling. Thank you guys/gals for everything you do to keep our community safe!

I will not call the police again. They were not helpful at all. My daughter was assaulted at school and the male officer responded with "your daughter couldn't have been innocent if the school got her in trouble. " Not only that they pretty much discouraged me from filing a report stating that they couldn't write a report unless i pressed charges. Makes no sense. Other police departments make incident reports all the time!

Always stopping black families in King City. Still profiling so sad. They need a more diverse force.

Incompetent crooks. After numerous attempts to reclaim my property they were holding and being told each time that the officer in charge of that division was on vacation or otherwise unavailable, I was assured by the person on the phone that my stuff was safe and that it would not be “destroyed. ” When finally, after months of fruitless phone calls I was able to get ahold of somebody who could help, I was informed that my property was in fact gone and that there was nothing I could do.
