King Taco # 10 reviews
13Best Al Pastor and very reasonable price. It was zo great i went right back for dinner, got the same thing plus 2 tamales for tomorrow night's dinner!
1st time trying it.wasn't impressed. I got the steak nachos. I asked the cook for a side of guac sauce and she asked me to get in line again. I declined.but my buddy who got tacos gave me his for my nachos.no indoor seating and both restrooms were out of service. I have an ileostomy so I need to drain my pouch when it gets full.other than that the place was okay.
As another reviewer pointed out, there is something off with the food these days. I want to say it's the meat. It doesn't taste quite as good as before. Maybe it's the lack of spices or fat, it just doesn't add up. The meat is flavorless. Truly unfortunate as the only reason one waits in line for so long is to get a decent burrito. I guess those days are over
Very good. Ordered carne asada and pork tacos, and ap carne asada burrito during my 8 day trip to LA. Everything was really good. Have to get their green sauce because its fresh and nicely seasoned. Red sauce had the right amount of heat. The place was clean and customer service was good. Also need to add, the orchada was excellent. I liked this place so much I went there 3 times during my stay in LA. Wish they had something like this in Washington state. Will definitely return next time I'm in LA.
Best tomales for sure. I put too much of the red sauce so it's was tongue burning hot yet delicious. The taco is for sure on fire. Not too long of a long or they just work pretty fast.
I had lunch at the King taco location on pico and Alvarado, and I have to say that the taco man attitude was really bad, I asked for salsa for my tacos and he was denying me a little bit of salsa, because nowadays they don't give you salsa nor limes.at the end after some argument he gave me a small container with salsa.my two tacos didn't have the same taste after the argument.but I'm not someone who throws away food.bad experience in that taco location.
This place isn't that good.meat has no flavor. Sometimes the staff would be rude. I just coming here because sometimes the taco vendor isn't in my block so I come here for tacos. But I rather have vendor tacos more cook with love.
When you want affordable Mexican food, you get exactly what you pay for. The nachos have that Velveeta/concession stand cheese on top, but/and the tacos are great. This location is large, convenient parking lot outside, fast.
Who’s the owner? Report your self to station because they need Salsa! So greedy with the condiments! Uno pide 3 sopes y solo le quieren dar 1 salsa. Maybe change your cups again so one little bottle of salsa would be enough then. Or let us know when we are ordering! We wait 20-25 mins to then wait again another couple of mins just to get one extra salsa! Salsa should be the LAST condiment you should be greedy with! It is NOT that expensive come on!
They make the burritos so small now, not worth the price

Los burritos los hacen bien pequeños ahora ya no vale la pena gastar tanto por lo que dan
Their service level has dropped to 1 from 9 for me. My recent two experiences was the same so I finally decided to let everyone know of it. Most of the female food handlers are rude and stingy. They give you less meat and sauces. Most importantly the food doesn't taste as great as before. Need to find elsewhere for my tacos and burritos.
There was something off about the flavor of this food, and the salsa couldn't even fix it. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it was almost as if it tasted Meditteranean. It had an herbal flavor that is not common for "Mexican" food. I ordered a chicken taco & carne asada quesadilla, but didn't finish my meal which is rare. Even the free parking, cheap prices, and decent portions won't get me to come back. My hunt for the best taco spot in LA continues.
I have been going here forever! Us "King Taco Fans" know how good it is. But a HUGE MINUS is PARKING. If you are in a time crunch, "Forget About It"! The parking lot literally only holds about ~20-25 cars for about 5-7 vendors in a very busy corner plaza.
Otherwise, enjoy those delicious Tacos!
