Kingman Avocado Citrus Succulents & Aloe Trees

The owner is super friendly and helpful and they have so many amazing fruit trees! I wanted to take all of them!

We called on a Sunday and even though they were closed John said if we knew what we wanted he could come and help us out. We found a great avocado tree at a really good price.especially compared to what we found in the LA area.

John provided us a great deal of information about where and when to plant the tree and how to keep it healthy. We also asked about some other fruit trees that we had at our house and John took the time to educate us and provide some recommendations. Needless to say, we will be back when we are in the market for another fruit tree!

John and Pearson are very knowledgeable! They have a wonderful selection of quality fruit tree's! Easy to get to and the prices are good! Will be back to pick out a few more trees soon!

If your looking for nice healthy trees, this is the place. Bought a tangerine and a blood orange. John was great, very helpful and a wealth of knowledge. I wish I had a room for more trees.

These folks are so darn nice and customer service oriented! I had called to ask what horrible thing was happening to my two lemon trees. They were covered with white mealy bugs and black dust. The return call I got was so informative and I was told exactly what to do to alleviate the problem. Just free information with no sales pitch. Old fashioned idea but so welcomed and helpful.

Five years ago, we found Kingman Trees and bought a beautiful Bearrs lime. It produced the juiciest large limes and friends have begged us to share them every year. We just cleared a hillside and knew where to find the healthiest trees. John asked us what we wanted and when we approached each citrus section, the first tree we saw is what we bought. All of them had healthy leaves, great structure and had trunks 2X the size of anywhere else and practically half the price. Delivery is reasonable and timely.
We highly recommend John and had an excellent experience with him and his employee!

The people who run this business are racists. Absolutely unacceptable not to serve people because of their ethnicity. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE BIGOTS.

This guy John owner is rude, He doesn’t care you buy or not, how can you run a business tell customer to upload the heavy trees with only his only 1 employee. Never had so much disrespectful from this place.
If he does not agreed with your negotiations he screams and point his fingers angrily “That is it, get out, get out now”.

I picked up an avocado plant there. The guy that runs it has many mature plants there. Very nice. While he was a little odd and the pice high I think this is still a decent place to shop especially if you want mature. But you will pay up. No huge bargains. I paid 275 for my avo.

John was great. He had what nobody else around has. I bought 9 specific varieties of trees. He was very helpful to me and delivered though for a fee. I see a few bad reviews of this place online and I can't comment on their experiences. All I can say is that this place was great. We went back and forth with my questions before buying probably like 10 emails and a few text messages as well as a few phone calls.

This guy is very insulting, possibly even dangerous. I think he may be mentally ill. First check yelp where the real reviews are then you'll know to stay far, far away!

This was an amazing place to purchase citrus, avocado, fruit trees or for me cacti and succulents. John is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The variety and different sizes of the cacti and succulent was great. Best Buy: the 17" X 18" container! As many plants as I could squeeze into the container for only $35! If you buy small you can get over 30 small plants, I bought small and medium and got a bundle! Most had babies to harvest as well. I can't wait to go back.

Kingmans has a huge selection of every type of avocado, citrus and fruit trees. Their 15 gallon trees are very good size and bearing fruit. We selected our trees at their convenient location in Vista, CA. Kingmans delivered and professionally installed the trees the next day. Five stars for Kingmans, I highly recommend them.

What can I say that would give John at Kingmans Avo the accolades he deserves? Very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and affordable. He goes the extra mile making sure you are happy with your tree by being available to chat about any problems you may be having. The trees are beautiful and look great in my yard!

Gorgeous fruit trees, very responsive service. I called Wed.afternoon and he was able to deliver Thurs.to meet with our tight deadline. He was also the only vendor that had all the varieties of trees we needed.
Previously we bought a flat of agaves, and those are all still alive and thriving.
Would certainly use him again!

We bought 2 olives, 3 citrus and fig from Kingman Ranch. The trees were very fresh and healthy. John delivered them to us and they arrived safely. John also gave us great advice on how to care for them and also sold us some steel cages to protect the citrus and fig from gophers. This is not a typical commercial nursery. You get the best advice and the trees are all home grown. John really knows his stuff. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to invest in healthy trees for their home. The palms and avocados also looked great, but we were not in the market for those at this time.

Found this gem hidden less than a mile from my parents house in Vista where I'm renovating their planter beds. Selection was large, plants were healthy, and prices were good. Plus, he gave me excellent advice on how many flats to purchase. Not too little, not too much. I will definitely be back.

I was in the market for succulents and ran across this place on the Internet. I am so happy I found it. The succulent selection was huge! The plants were healthy, organized, easily accessible and reasonably priced. John was very informative about the succulents. He helpfully pointed out larger versions of the small succulents I was purchasing so I had an idea of how they'd look in time. He was never pushy and I walked away with the perfect amount of plants. Excellent experience!
