Fillet of sole was seasoned to perfection the shrimp were tender and delicious and the fries had the right amount of seasoning the catfish is great too I enjoy my food everytime I go there

Ordered 4pc catfish and 10pc shrimp.was fried to perfection especially the shrimp.the fish could have used a tad bit more seasoning. But overall it was good. The man there says they accept EBT food.just in case you have EBT

The reviews on here can not possibly be this location. Either that or we received what we got because the location was closing soon. The fish was not fresh and tasted processed and mushy - the same way frozen fish sticks from the grocery store taste. The batter was an extremely thick flour batter (not cornmeal) and had the appearance and taste of batter that is commonly used to fry chicken. The flavor was overpowering and had an awful after taste. With all of the available fish markets in this city, I’m shocked and angry at how disgusting it was. My Mother picked this place because it was much cheaper than the other King Fish on Crenshaw, but we are definitely paying for that decision now. Yuck.

Oh my goodness. This fish & chicken is the BOMB. It was my first time. And man I was licking my fingers. Also Hush puppies are so good. Enjoy

New ownership changed the menu, prices and quality. Not the same. I used to get the sol special and they don't even have that. Just doesn't taste the same.

Very good and attentive. Made sure my order was correct. Friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed the interaction. My favorite fish fry location.

The chicken is cook to the perfect amount of temperature and time to produce the most deliciously flavorful experience. The potato salad is really good. The French fries are always cooked in new oil for a fresh crisp result. This place gets a 10+ rating by me and 2 thumbs up.

Easy to spot location on review down S. Central I decide to eat at Kings Fish & Chicken, I like tartar sauce here is the place to eat fried food. I like the variety of fried food menu. Fried chicken with fried fish and seasoned fries it taste good looks good and I ate good.

This fish market is under new management and I’m glad. The fish doesn’t smell and the batter is well seasoned. Their fries and dumplings are good too! Definitely will be going back.

I called and ordered thinking it was the old place I had no idea they sold it last month. The new food is okay definitely not as flavored as before and the damn breading isn't even sticking to the fish. I won't visit again. Miss the old place

Where has this been all my life? What a gem! It's really hard to find fresh, high quality crab and lobster like this, even in the bay area. As much as I love seafood, I'm pretty picky about freshness and can detect a fishy scent a mile away. I'd heard amazing things about this place and went on a big crab & lobster roll binge when I was in Boston a few months ago too, so I excepted to be a bit underwhelmed.

For a family member's birthday, we had a bunch of lobster tails, lobster rolls, crab rolls, and lobster bisque. Opening boxes of seafood, served with buttered rolls, thick homemade potato chips, and crunchy coleslaw, was cause for celebration itself. Usually I just get the lobster plate special, but this time, I was able to try a lot of different things. Everything was obviously delicious, but I really enjoyed the bisque and the crab roll.

Was told a great place to eat in area. Food didn't take long. But was very fishy smelling and breading didn't stick on fish. Alot of food for price but I won't be buying again.

The fish is a tad bit above average for what it is worth. I had the catfish and shrimp. There is no customer service per se’, you just order your food and go.
