16I first gave Kriby and excellent, 5 Start review, but then, after buying an Outback and getting to know the people (or individual) who sold me the car, I realized that I must change my review. After all, as a scholar, I should have known better to jump-the-gun and write a review before really knowing comprehensively each and every aspect of the car and dealership in which I gave my business to. I researched the hell out of the Outback. I watched countless videos on YouTube, read review after review, and was excited about all the option and amenities that an Outback comes with. Bob from Kirby gave me the best deal; he actually called me back and gave me a better deal on a higher model than I had initially wanted. Then I got the car. I quickly realized that the gas mileage wasn't what Subaru claims. When I asked Bob about this, he blamed it on my "heavy foot. " When my power window on my drivers side slowed during opening and closing, Bob blamed my tinted windows. When I took it in for service, the team at service gave me the pre-emptive, "your lift kit might not be covered by the warrantee" talk even though I was there to simply get an oil change. When my "eye sight" warning light came on, Bob had never heard of that issue and said that he would get back to me; never did. When my stereo system and phone stopped working, I notified Bob, and after one response, he decided to no longer communicate with me at all. It has been four months, less that 8,000 miles, countless issues, and Kirby Subaru is treating me like and ex-girlfriend who wants to pretend I don't exist. Great customer service Bob/Kirby. I now know where to never send my business again.
We had an excellent five star experience at Kirby Subaru. Robert was very knowledgeable and friendly. We hadn't planned on buying a vehicle that day but with the deal we got we did and are very pleased with it and the treatment we got from Robert and all the folks at Kirby.
Austin Dietz help me get a new car. He was supper efficient, friendly and thoughtful. Felt very taken care of by the Subaru employees would recommend anyone to come here for their next car buying experience and ask for Austin!:)
I doubt you could find a car dealership with better customer service than what you get at Kirby Subaru. It's not just the sales team or the service team, it's literally every single person that works here. They are the most courteous, nicest people you have ever interacted with at a dealership. We got our Outback here last year, and throughout that process our sales agent was wonderful, and since then everyone I have ever spoken to or interacted with at Kirby, has been tremendous. We love our Outback, and you can bet that our next car will come from Kirby as well.

I had an excellent experience with Robert when navigating the market for my BRZ. It was a good process, and suffice it to say, he worked with me, and we were able to reach a deal I was comfortable with.
Best car buying experience ever! Bruce Holly is so amazing and helpful! He introduced us to Tim Miller who showed us only the cars we requested, helped us understand the different features, helped through the financing process (which was a bit of a challenge for the great finance lady because of some credit issues) and kept us informed at every step of the way. We walked in looking for a car and left 2 and 1/2 hours later with the transaction completed and a be vehicle to drive home. I would recommend Kirby Subaru to anyone looking for a car and I am going to bring another daughter in next week to buy a second vehicle!
Bob “Indy” was so nice and helpful when I came in to explore options as my lease was ending. I was avoiding going to the dealership I got my car from because their customer support was awful and I was dreading even going here because of my last experience. Bob totally changed my view of car buying! He was super helpful, listened to my needs/wants/concerns and helped me navigate this process with ease. He even helped me learn the many different features of my new car when I expressed feeling overwhelmed by it. He was fun to spend time with and chat with and I could tell he genuinely wanted to make sure I found the car I wanted and he wasn’t just trying to sell me whatever was most expensive. He checked in with me the following day to see how my first commute in my new car was and took the time to schedule my first service appointment in advance. SOMEONE GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE! The dealership overall was really nice, clean and everyone was so so friendly.
I bought a new Outback from Kirby Subaru a couple of days ago. From my first phone call up through driving off the lot, the entire team was friendly, helpful, organized, and unquestionably committed to ensuring a good experience. My sales rep, Ricky, was completely ready for my visit and knew the inventory that met my needs. I received a good trade-in value, and there were some additional optional purchase items that were offered and clearly explained without any "hard sell" tactics. For example, there was an extended warranty which I meant to purchase but had forgotten to discuss, and I'm glad they brought it up as an option.
For great pricing and an excellent, knowledgeable, committed team, I absolutely recommend Kirby Subaru.

Lars was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was able to find me a vehicle that suited my needs. He was patient with us as we made different decisions. I will go back to Lars and Kirby Subaru if another vehicle is needed. We are extremely 100% satisfied with our service.
I had a wonderful experiencing from the time I entered the dealership to the purchase of my new car. Everyone was very help and kind.
Avoid this dealership if you want your car to be worked on professionally and would like everything put back together properly. Service team has a gross lacking professionalism. Short story time, I brought my car to get service done. I had two bring it there twice in one week because they simply didn’t fix the problem nor did they put things back where they belonged. When I respectfully confronted them about it, was called a liar. I was called a liar up until I showed them the pictures I took of my car before I dropped it off to them that day, which displayed the parts that were missing were in fact on the car before I brought it there. After speaking with Sergio Perez, the sales manager I was told that everything was going to be fix accordingly and properly, it wasn’t. In fact they tried to extort money out of me by trying to have me pay for a vehicle teardown which was unnecessary. So after speaking with Subaru of America I decided to take my car to another dealership to get the work properly completed. A few months later I returned to Kirby Subaru to purchase motor oil and two days later I was informed I can no longer do business with them because they don’t like the truthful report I told Subaru of America and because a lie one of there service workers reported. Which I have proof and showed them. So at the end of it I lost my account with them and I’m now forced to drive 30 minutes away because they couldn’t do their job correctly and their feelings are hurt about a report of them being con artists. So do what you will with this story, but if I were you I’d avoid them at all costs.
I purchased a brand new 2023 Subaru Wrx limited September 30th with the help of Matthew A and Jordan F. The process was smooth and transparent everything about the deal was on paper over the email, so when we got to the dealership, there was no change so we didnt have to waste time negotiating.that was a big deal because I live quite far away and I didnt want to drive there and not make a purchase.there is a reason why their review is high and it shows. I will definitely be purchasing my next vehicle with Kirby Subaru of Ventura!
I recently had a positive experience with Kirby Subaru of Ventura. When I was negotiating for a car, I made it clear that I wanted an "Out the Door" price, which includes all markups but not government fees and taxes, and that I didn't want to pay for any added features that I didn't request. After some discussion, we agreed on a price. However, when I carefully reviewed the sales document, I noticed that the dealer had added a car protection finish that I didn't want. I called Mark Kirby, the car salesman. To my surprise, the salesman was willing to refund the money for the unwanted feature. I was impressed with Kiby's ethical behavior and Mark’s very low-pressure approach and would recommend this dealership to others.

Took vehicle in for the 3rd time for the same issue. In speaking with a service representative, I was offered a loaner vehicle. I specifically requested a Forester as I am handicapped and I know I can get into this vehicle (request had been made almost 2 weeks prior to providing vehicle for service). NO Forester was provided as they loaned them all out. Was provided with a vehicle that is too high for me to get into.
