Kitchen Aloha reviews
15I ordered for pickup and got the chicken teriyaki plate with my choice of side bbq pork ribs. Let me just say this place did not disappoint. The meat was falling off the ribs and the chicken was fresh and everything had really good flavor. We also ordered the crunchy spicy spam and it hit the spot. The shrimp tempura roll was so good too. This place has the best portions for such a good price. 10/10!
Take out only. Excellent service, delicious food. Fresh fish! Yummy tempura bento 3 combo. Decent wait for large order.
They have the best spicy tuna rolls. But the really special item is the salmon plate with rice and salad. Yummy for lunch.
Wow this place is amazing! You can tell the food is made with care and the fish is great quality! Definitely a new staple.
Good Hawaiian style plates. Comes with gravy and steak sauce, no katsu, still really nicely packaged and cooked well
I saw them microwave my food before serving.
Everything was soggy and had a weird after taste.
If you need a quick sashimi fix this is the place to go to! Great selection of fish, rolls, and bento boxes. For such a small place I am impressed ️
Great sea food very fresh and loved the scallop baked sushi roll. Meha Poke bowl was on point if your near by come check it out highly recommended.
Wonderful Asian fusion takeout place. Ordered some hand rolls and pork katsu and really enjoyed both!
The food was SOUR & SLIMY! It was absolutely LOW QUALITY & that’s RIDICULOUS. I WASTED my time, money, & appetite! Was barely able to eat my food without gagging! I could have gotten BETTER quality from a frozen meal from the grocery store! They took 20 minutes to even acknowledge my existence! I also seen them use a microwave. The food took about 8 minutes to get to me which is okay I GUESS. At least took the time to try and mimic fresh food. The shrimp tempura was actually good, but everything else was not tasting right.
EVERYTHING IS GOOD AND IN HUGE PORTIONS BUT THE THE MEGA POKE BOWL IS SO GOOD I ATE A LOT BEFORE TAKING A PIC ITS SO CHEAP FOR THE QUANTITY AND QUALITY THERE WAS 7 SLICES OF HAMACHI, 3 SLICES SALMON, 3 SLICES TUNA, AND 4 SLICES OF ALBACORE. THE SAUCE IS SO GOOD AND IT COMES WITH SALMON ROE AND TOBIKO OH MY GOD.
Nice people. Great sushi, great poke bowl. Large portions and very very reasonable. The restaurant is small and faces the street so I opted for take out and was pleasantly surprised at the large amount of food once I opened it up. I way over ordered, although a few days before I had paid $130 for much much smaller portions than what was given to me at kitchen Aloha. My order here at KA was $35 which included a generous tip. I'm a generous guy what can I say?
The couple that owns the restaurant said they have been in that location for 12 years. My order was sushi A la carte and one of the poke bowls from the menu which is fairly extensive (the menu). This is definitely a place you must try at least once.
Ahi tuna bowl is overpriced even by SF standard. $15 for one small scoop of tuna and some iceberg lettuce salad with mayo.
Yay a great sushi place in the area! Their rolls are pretty good, especially for the price. I particularly liked the fried salmon and crab roll.
Also tried their volcano with fried shrimp, which I though was delicious and substantial. Loved the crumbly bits on top! Also there’s bacon in it and an added prawn/shrimp on top! These take longer to cook, so make sure you call your order in!
I did question the musubi though, I think it should have more rice? I’m just not used to the spam to rice ratio being 2: 1 lol still yummy though
Staff was super friendly and make sure to call in your order ahead of time so you don’t have to wait! Definitely my sushi go to in civic center.

I go here for lunch every time I’m in the work place and so far I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tasted! Basically going to try the whole menu
So they have other menu items/specials that aren’t posted yet, so I’ve added pictures. Really good deals!
My go to: California roll (6) and unagi roll (6) special with a side of miso! So filling and so delicious! The miso soup has enoki mushrooms! And for $7.95? Seriously, it’s awesome.
Katsu rice bowl: great portions for the price, chicken has a nice crisp and love the salad dressing! Comes with yummy katsu and another sauce.sesame? Not sure, but it was yum. Also came with miso soup.
Can’t wait to try everything else on the menu! Friendly staff as always, making a point to know their regulars. Always a pleasure to eat here:)
***also, they can get really busy, especially during lunch! It’s best to call in your order ahead of time. Plus I believe there is a discount for doing so!
