The food and customer service is top tier. I live almost an hour away and there’s no other soul food place I’ll go to!

Soo delicious! Food took a while but only because it’s made to order which means it was fresh and hot! I got the fried chicken with double mac.the chicken was crispy, hot, and juicy and the mac was cheesy and creamy.will definitely be visiting again.

Not sure how she managed to get this many FAKE reviews. There were many red flags upon receiving my order. 1. Phone was answered in unprofessional manner that would have deterred most 2. Non existent customers in the background were mentioned 3. Place was very hard to find in a dead lot. 4. When you find the place its dark and was completely empty of a SINGLE customer, not to mention one lonely rude cook waiting for a miserable customer to argue with.she had never cooked my call in order so I left no problem

I have never had this type of interaction as I am respectful especially when supporting a business.

The turkey chops was excellent, the greens was ok. The Mac and cheese was ok. The peach cobbler was more like soup. I got 3 peach’s and no crust and it was super sweeeeeeeetttt!

Walked in and was told yams would be about an hour, but everything else was available.

Wanted turkey chops, but they didn't have them. Chicken, they only had legs and thighs.

Should have just left, but I wanted to try the food. Guess the joke was on me

Greens (salty), Mac n cheese (taste weird possibly the cheese because there was NO seasoning), black eye peas (mushy and had a weird taste), rice & gravy (nasty), smothered chicken (no flavor on chicken or gravy), fried chicken (best thing) and the cornbread (taste straight like f ish! Like she used the cornmeal used the fish)

Definitely won't be going back here. $$$ wasted!

This is one of the best kept secrets of the Inland Empire. You can taste the love in every bite. Everything we had was seasoned to perfection. The cleanest soul food I’ve ever had.and by clean, I mean not greasy. Can’t recommend Kk’s enough! Now that we know, we’ll be back for sure! Thank you KK for doing what you do at such a high level. Everything was excellent. Kudos!

My wife and I arrived an hour before they closed and they were out of Smothered Chicken, Mac&Cheese and Oxtails. The atmosphere was dark and it had a bad odor. How you have a restaurant and you run out of food before you close? Never going back.

I ordered the chicken meal with sweet potatoes, greens, and complimentary cornbread. The food was fresh, and seasoned well. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was good as well. I've had a hard time finding good soul food in the Riverside/moval area, this will now be my go-to spot!

Wait time 45 mins and the lady was by herself. Could not smell the food inside the door or outside the door. From the outside place looks closed look very dim and dark like if it's a no life in

KK was a cool lady after y'all start talking I agree with some people she needs to work on her customer service that's everything to customers! So people would want to come back. Her FOOD WAS OKAY I really didn't get what I exactly came for but chicken and Mac and cheese she said
She didn't have much sid√e to choose from cause it was the weekend and an hour to closing So everything was gone already the fired chicken wings were everything! Not over seasoned and cooked perfect the Mac and cheese was okay could of had a little more cheese and flovar yams was cool I'm just not a big fan of yams I want to taste her greens so badly with my pregnant self LoL but I will try again soon when she have everything I want I know food expensive now but the chicken dinner is a bit expensive but yes KK you did good when you open a soul food restaurant out this way you don't find restaurants like this out here I'm from Los Angeles my grandparents from Jackson Mississippi and Shreveport Louisiana so I know what soul food is I'll see you soon Lady

This is the only QUALITY SOUL FOOD RESTAURANT in Moreno Valley. If it's Sunday you better get your order in ASAP. The Oxe tails are GREAT!

This isn’t it. I got 2 plates from here and it was almost $70. If I am going to spend $70 on 2 plates it needs to taste amazing. The collards were extremely salty, they were the saltiest thing I have ever tasted. The salt from the collards should have been applied to the oxtails and mac and cheese because both were bland and lacked flavor. I wanted to like and support this business but unfortunately I will not be returning. I have thrown out the rest of the food and will not be spending $70 at this location for less that mediocre food. This isn’t soul food. I am literally from the south and this isn’t it! Extremely overpriced for what you get.

She was nice the food was great I will get food from her again and again the cornbread SMH was everything to me I can't wait to try her oxtails and her turkey I live way in Palm Springs and who wants to drive on the freeway on weekends

This is my second review, and I can't express enough how much my family and I enjoy this food. This time I ordered the turkey wings dinner and it actually knock my socks off. The wings were so tender that the meat fell off the bones; the gravy was smooth and seasoned perfectly. The collard greens were much better this time.not too salty and the sweet potatoes were firm and not too sweet. I also purchased peach cobbler for dessert which had the right dough to peaches and sauce consistency. I can't wait to go back but I know I can't eat this good all the time. Good Job!

First off, I love supporting black own businesses, but on first appearance, it is run down. Honestly, I should have walked out the door. I told myself no, maybe the food will taste better than what it looks like. The meun was very limited when I went. I ordered fried chicken and three sides. It was pricey for the little bit of food I received. The fried chicken was great, but the greens were very, very salty, the mac n cheese was not good, and the yams were different.

Mrs K is amazing her fried catfish superb and her smother pork chops off the chain delicious and her yams is the best ever thank you I found my soul food spot!

Down to earth local soul food place the food is fantastic. I will be supporting this blk business.
