Klamath River RV Park reviews
14 We looked at other RV parks along the 101, and this RV park is by far the best! Beautiful setting along the river, very relaxed and quiet. Great central location for seeing the Redwoods National and State Parks and ocean. Secure park at night. Automatic gates close at night, and guests receive the code at check-in.
Clean bathrooms & laundry. Gary, the owner is very friendly and helpful. This was by far the BEST independent campground experience we've had in our years of travel. We're looking forward to staying again.
Love this park and the views. Easy pull thrus and spacious. Tight turn at the top to get it but no problem with a wide swing. Unfortunately the power company turned off the power during the day for maintenance so our hookups didn’t work and we couldn’t use the showers. It was also a bit smoky from the fires. No fault of the RV park but something to be aware of when camping in late summer/early fall.
Wow, what an amazing experience we had at Klamath River RV Park! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The park itself is a hidden gem nestled along the stunning Klamath River. The natural beauty surrounding the park is simply breathtaking. We woke up to the sound of gentle river waves and were surrounded by lush greenery, making it a perfect retreat for nature enthusiasts like us.
The RV sites were spacious, well-maintained, and offered excellent amenities. We found everything we needed, from full hook-ups to reliable Wi-Fi. The park also had clean and modern restroom facilities, which is always a plus when traveling.
One of the highlights of our stay was the abundance of recreational activities available. We spent our days fishing in the river, exploring the nearby hiking trails, and even had a chance to walk on the beach where the Klamath River meets the Pacific. There was never a dull moment, and we appreciated the variety of options to suit different interests.
What truly sets Klamath River RV Park apart is the sense of community and camaraderie among fellow campers. We made new friends around the communal fire pit while sharing stories and enjoying s'mores.
Lastly, we cannot forget to mention the exceptional customer service. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, providing us with insider tips on local attractions. They truly went the extra mile to ensure we had an unforgettable stay.
Overall, Klamath River RV Park exceeded our expectations in every way. It's a haven for nature lovers, RV enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. We left with fond memories and a deep appreciation for the wonderful experiences this park offers. We can't wait to return and create more cherished moments in this slice of paradise.
Beautiful location, surrounded by huge pine trees on three sides and the Klamath River on the other. Very friendly and accommodating owner, great and reasonably priced laundry room. The campground access is via a very tight turn, but we got our 42 foot fifth wheel around it without a problem. Would definitely return.
Brewery nice RV Park on the banks of the Klamath River. Full hookups, Wi-Fi and tv. Fun area to explore. Redwood parks near by. Casino, Jerry boats rides. Scenic drive along the coast to see ww2 structures to protect the coast.
Laundry in bathroom facilities were adequate. I didn't think the $15 extra was worth the river view site.
Be sure to drive the Drury Scenic Parkway through Redwood National and State Park several times a memory you won't forget!
Also, close by drive through one of the two remaining standing redwood trees.
Beautiful camp ground. The owner and staff (Randy) were super friendly and helpful. I definitely will return.
It is beautiful here! Gary the owner is top notch! Very accommodating and kind. My daughter fell while playing at the park, next thing I know Gary came running out of the office with a carousel of lollipops for her and all the kids on the playground. Spots are decent sized and is right on the river. Will definitely be back!
Our family of 6 loved our stay here. It's gorgeous, well kept, great showers, and the owner is accommodating and very kind. Plus, the camp host takes you to your spot and helps you get backed in. Marriage saving skills! Highly recommend this park!
This campground was awesome & so beautiful and quiet, the nicest campground we have stayed at on our journey so far, plenty of room between campers, the camp host was very nice and helpful, I would definitely recommend this campground to everyone. I give it 5 stars I would give it 10 if I could!
Great little spot. Very clean. Nice view on the river. Fast wireless! Great owner & host as well. Def recommend
This is a nice campground but if you’re pulling a towed I would disconnect on the road the turn into the campground is very sharp! The campground is clean and tidy with fire rings next to the river camp host is helpful and caring
Beautiful park next to 101! Right on the river! Close to the Pacific! Isolated but stunning location Spacious sites, clean bathrooms and laundry
Beautiful Rv park, staff is friendly, wish we could have spent more time there. Get your groceries before you arrive, limited options within a reasonable distance of the park.
