Koi Express Hibachi & Sushi, Vacaville CA

Got my food two meals and an entree for $30 dontre had no crab or cheese in it they're all flat and I barely got any meet with my dish.

Best chicken and rice in town, and the staff is sooo sweet, they even know me by name. Love them in there!

Amazing restaurant, friendly workers, great food! I always order the same, hibachi chicken and shrimp and crab rangoon, some of the best hibachi and crab rangoons i have ever ate, the yum yum sauce makes everything perfect and the shrimp and crab rangoons are just amazing! Prices are good in my opinion too, my wife and i love ordering from here. This place ALSO does Military Discount!

Absolutely love this gem of a place, the portions are amazing and I love the takoyaki so much! Everything is delicious and the staff are really friendly, please come try!

This is my go to spot to eat when driving through Vacaville on I80. Delicious affordable food and a friendly local small business in a sea of chain restaurants. The hibachi is fantastic.

The pictures look good. Friendly staff. Speedy service. Dragon sushi roll was terrible. Crab and cucumber salad was ok.

Smallish area for eating in but very clean n cozy.friendly n quick service.loved their steak w shrimps.

This is the best Asian Japanese restaurant I have discovered recently, friendly service, special sushi rolls from Vacaville, and very fresh tuna and salmon. The style of the restaurant is elegant and clean. I highly recommend you to try it!

Koi Express is really delicious and price is excellent we drive all from elk grove just to have some bomb food.

Definitely one of my favorite spots in Vacaville. The food is so good, make sure you guys get the yum yum sauce so good especially with your steak and lobster plate.

1st Time trying Koi Express Hibachi & Sushi
This review is only on their Sushi rolls.
Rolls are on the small side ordered a Rainbow, Tiger, American, spicy tuna, spicy crab, and salmon avocado. Pick up was ok only slightly behind on the order. Staff was friendly restaurant seemed clean. Really wanted to like them but, sadly it was sub par sushi. Presentation food looks great but, sadly it falls short. Do not order the spicy tuna awful we threw it out. In conclusion small portions, sub par in taste/quality/texture. Also Pricey compared to other better spots in town. Really hate leaving a bad review but, got burned by people hyping this place. Won't return much better offerings in town.

Thought I’d give this place a try. I’d have to agree with the other one star reviews left.
Rating the sushi. It was awful! Ordered the American, Tiger and Philadelphia Roll.
The rolls are very small, the quality of the fish wasn’t good, tasted old. I will not be returning. Hoping to find a legitimately good 5 star sushi place around here.

Honestly, highly dissatisfied and disappointed with the lack of quality in this food. Im confused at the 4.8 rating this restaurant has because the food doesn't match the rating what so ever. Literally some of the worst sushi I've ever had. The rice looked old. Was mushy and glossy. Nothing seemed fresh. Creamy tuna filling. Imitation crab. Etc. The hibachi combo was only decent once you drowned it in the sauce they provide you to help give the food some life. I guess you get what you pay for. I payed $54 + a tip. Maybe I should've ate the food first and gave them a verbal tip instead. Won't be back.

Good sushi, good prices, and a very friendly staff. I ordered the tuna avocado, salmon avocado, spicy tuna, and California rolls and they were really good. Their rice is excellent and the fish is fresh.

Such great service! Our food was out quickly and tasted delicious, and they were so kind! I had to thank them personally, we will definitely be back soon.

I go to this nice place many times a year! This is my favorite restaurant to dine. I visit this spot at least once a month. The meals are fantastic, the staff members are helpful and the price is decent. I enjoy going in this restaurant for a good meal.
