One of the best places for South Indian vegetarian food in the south bay area. The dosas are really good and crispy, Idlis are soft, the combos are always good and the filter coffee is great. There is generally a rush during lunch hours but finding a table is not hard. A very good place for comfort food and a high value for your buck. They also sell boxed snacks which are good.

Oh they serve delectable Sambar Dosa and Vada! Yummiesttttt south indian with great service!

Decent quantity, but Sambhar had little flavor, Rasam was running, and the poriyal was nothing but just steamed veggies.
Would stick with only Dosas if I've to visit again.

Used to be very good. These days the keerai, rasam and more are good. The rest are average.
We went on a Sunday at about 12: 20. The wait time was about 20 minutes.

Pretty good dosas. Much larger and more substantial than other places I've tried lately, and for the same price.

The food was average, if you are real fan of South Indian food there are few other options available in Bay Area.

Long wait for average food. Horrible service. After waiting over 45 mins, no one comes to take an order for 15 mins. When you order, you pay at the same time, and they ask to tip before serving.

Asked for refills, and some never came, so just left

Great food.good service.its right next to India cash and carry.its not fancy, but planty of place to sit and eat.

This place charges $13.50 for a Thali that has only the following (Small Quantity of Rice- very cold, Rasam - very watery and taste like made previous day, Sambar also looks 2 day old, Palak Dal - total waste looks 2 days old, diluted yogurt - nothing major, one sweet - Pineapple Kesari, and very small pickle in a round plastic cover which is much smaller than what you get in an air plane and a papad). Since we were 4, we ended up ordering 3 Thali and one Malsala Dosai. For our surprise, Masala for dosa was served outside of Dosa and it was cold and tasted like two days old potato mix. Dosa itself was cold. When you go out to eat, we expect some warm food, fresh good food, not like food made the previous day or older. And for all these the charges over the roof. You want to business and make money, but please do with some ethics and Dharma. You are not going to become Millionaire by cheating people like this. It was very upsetting to see that you took me and family for a ride. I will not suggest this place to anyone in the future.

Saturday lunch - not a good experience
Orders weren’t take right, poor service quality- absolutely no spice. Kids panner dosa had raw panner - this place has lost its quality

Absolutely the best place for south indian food. Tasty food prepared with atmost quality homemade style that takes you back to the lanes of Chennai. The service by Mr. Sabarish made the experience wholesome with the speedy service and a smiling face, an epitome of hospitality.

5 stars for the food (almost everything on the menu is yum)! Delicious and served really quickly with almost no wait time! Unfortunately the quality of service has deteriorated. The staff in general are very disorganized. There’s no one to clean the table for new customers, no one to take orders, and I felt a very unwelcome response from the staff for a request I had made. I’m disappointed with the way they handled it and I only hope this feedback would be used in the best interest for the restaurant and its staff!

Great Service from the ladies at the counter. They are courteous, staff is efficient. Orders are quickly fulfilled. Food quality is excellent.

The dosas are crispy and tasty. It is not spicy but flavourful. Also this was the best sambar I have had in the bay area
