I have been going to Korean palace sense 1987, great family business. Owners, and the sons are very welcoming, they make you feel like family. Great customer service, food is excellent! I love the atmosphere. I was first introduced to Korean Palace by my then boss Mr. Dong Young Kim. I enjoy everything I have ever eaten, but my favorite is the garlic beef in spicy spicy sause with the kumchee.

Food is just average, there are many other Korean restaurants better than this, especially considering the price. Overpriced.

Awful service, food is way too expensive for what you’re getting. So many better places in Bay Area that are cheaper but also have bigger portions and better service

Flavorful Kalbi and seafood jigae was tasty. Bonchon could have been with more variety but in these times it’s understood. Plenty of parking and happy to support the local business.

I went to the restaurant with my friend and ask for a to go menu, my friend asks to use the restroom and so he left me alone with the menu and got on his computer, didn’t look at me at all, I was waiting and as soon as he comes up to me I’m getting ready to ask if he can make gimbap (they only have bibimbap) he tells me I wasn’t going to order and if my friend needed to use the restroom that we could’ve just ask for the restroom alone. She was on her way over to order with me lol so I tried to explain but it was too late he wanted us to leave. Maybe talk to your customers and don’t assume things. I’ve been here before, food is good but really pricey okay that’s it.

Would not recommend eating or ordering from here. While it is tasty, it's not worth your money. We ordered the BBQ Combo 콤보 on Door Dash, and the portions are half portions of the meat items listed, which it does not say in the description. It also came with rice, which was not clear, so we ordered additional rice. There are other Korean places that are just as tasty and give you way more food.

I don't know about the food, as this is a regular Korean restaurant. But the service in the person of the waitress looked excessively rude and inappropriate when she suddenly said-one minute (without any please), and could just leave you, and leave for completely different matters. It all looked very rude and chauvinistic. I'm eating here for the first and last time. And also-when I asked just about hot tea (green), I answered very rudely that there was no green tea, and offered nothing. A very rude waiter. The service is categorically poor. Even after our remark, the attitude has not changed in any way. One star in any case.

The place has very good food. I personally think it's a little pricy. Maybe Korean food is pricy and with inflation I should expect to pay more. Service and good both great. I would recommend anyone to try.

I grew up attending a Korean church. With that came an appreciation for the culture; especially the food. The food at the Korean Palace has been consistently fresh, flavorful and like what good Korean food should taste like. A small piece of home and my childhood. The owner makes a point to check in with the customers and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. This is appreciated as I am not Korean and I’ve felt unwelcome at times in other places. The decor is nothing special, looks homey but is clean. I don’t go there for the atmosphere. I repeatedly eat there for the delicious reasonably priced food, welcoming atmosphere and good service. I’m sad I’m moving out of the area as this was my go to restaurant. When I’m in town this place is on my list.

We ordered beef fried rice, soft tofu soup (shrimp) and BBQ pork spicy. We liked the food. Fried rice was not salty. BBQ pork was not too spicy, I wish it was and the soup was delicious. Good service as well. I'm not giving 5 stars maybe because I find their servings small for the price. Per person I spent $30-$50.

Oh my deliciousness! I haven’t had Korean BBQ this good since I was in Seoul or Woo Lea Oak in Los Angeles, long since closed.

The service was friendly enthusiastic, they made us feel like we were family. Offering great suggestions about how to start the meal, what goes better beat and some tricks and tips about getting the best flavors.

I highly recommend, and will return often myself.

The best Korean BBQ hands down. It's not the cheapest nor is it the cheap AYCE stuff. But it has the best flavor and the most tender beef. My wife come here all the time and we always say: if there's only one restaurant in all of the Bay Area that we never get sick of and would eat over and over again, Korean Palace is it.

They're also one of the few places that still sell the Hand-cut (Wrap) Kalbi/Galbi. They still have LA Galbi too if bones are your thing.

Like seafood? Try their Sauteed Squid or their Spicy Raw Blue Crab.

Beer? They have Hite, OB, Sapporo, Asahi. But the best is Kloud on draft.

It’s pricy.and the food was too salty and sour for me. Maybe that’s more traditional korean food taste, but not for me. All the other customers we saw in the restaurant were elderly korean so I guess the taste was good for them.

We ordered seafood soup. For a dish over $20, the crab is not fresh, only a couple of pieces of tofu, two salty mussels and several tiny shrimps. I got stomachache right after finishing the soup! Cannot imagine how it can survive in Bay Area!

1. Facility: the building is old and smelly.
2. Service: excellent
3. Taste: pretty good for seafood pancake and fried shrimps
Don't try BBQ, that are always burned and soggy and soups, that are almost water and sauce
5. Portion of food: too little to fill your stomach. Order two dish at least for a person
4. Price: very expensive
Overall, Not worth trying!

Food is very good. Must be authentic as we were only non Korean customers. Could use some upgraded decor and sprucing up.

It’s a Korean BBQ place, minus you don’t get to grill your meat. So it’s more like a cheap Hawaiian bbq place, minus the cheap price. $30-$45 per meat or $70 for the combo for this! Ridiculous!

The food and service were excellent. Everything we ordered was very well prepared and the portions were generous. I recommend the barbecued short ribs and Japchae.

The food here was very delicious. We got bulgogi bibimbap and bbq chicken hot stone pot. The bulgogi was really nice with a subtle sweetness. The BBQ chicken was good but would try a different protein next time in the hot stone pot. The veggies, rice, and sauce for the hot stone pot were so yummy! The service was a bit slow but the people were very friendly. Definitely recommend eating here!
