KPBS Public Media, San Diego CA

This radio station often goes off the air, normally just when you are in the middle of a program. I've listened for 30 + years and now that I have choice, I'm thinking of leaving for an LA station. It is pitiful. I'm not contributing any more.

I listen to KPBS every morning and I can't express in words of how grateful I am for this news coverage! The accuracy and depth in the story coverage is well articulated and I hope the KPBS team keeps up the momentum. Keep it up!

I cannot say enough of how important of a service this is to the area. This is one local channels that actually keeps people informed about what is happening in the world.
Their local news is just as good, in depth coverage that is focused on issues that other networks seem not to get too involved in. Not all opinions I agree with on their news broadcast (pbs news hour), but at least the discussions are adult, and intelligent and no one is shouting and yelling at each other witch is what you see on a daily basis on cable news.

Propaganda. They told us the Russians hacked the elections. Turns out to have been a lie. They used a tagline saying there was no evidence of "Widespread" Election Fraud - Turns out to have been a lie. They told us the Russian Facebook Ads were for Donald Trump - turns out the FB ads promoted Hillary and Black-On-White violence ala George Soros and Black Lives Matter. [13% Of the population commit 56% of the homicides, that matters KPBS. ]

The only solution is to introduce KPBS to the BULLSHIT WORLD THEY ARE CREATING.

Just to be clear, i am a KPBS supporter and continuous in my donations. I listen to KPBS so much that I tolerate the pledge drives just to hear the tidbits you leave in.
This current pledge drive disgusts me. Somewhere, let me guess, a successful NY pledge drive move, the bottom line was improved by serious fawning for the "Producer Club level". The non- stop pandering to the $100/ month donors offering all kinds of snob appeal tactics is so repugnant to me that were I in that league, I would no longer wish to be associated with either the "club" or KPBS.
Did anyone think through the values associated with the radio station or has it all reverted to the bottom line?

A tour of the KPBS Studios is a great experience. Not only do you have an opportunity to meet some of the great people will bring us valuable news, but you get to see and be inspired by what it takes to do so.

Impressive facilty and great program. Everyone there was well spoken and had great content for our movie screening.

I can no longer give to KBPS. The vast majority of the radio show programs do nothing except incite intolerance and hatred. A better use of the resources would be to come up with alternative solutions to the problems that many people face and discuss them to get real action. This inaction made me realize that my resources can be better spent elesewhere. In the future I will give to Planned Parenthood and hope others would do the same so that women do not have to depend on the federal government for this service. $360 billion was donated to non profits in 2014 in the USA, surely Planned Parenthood can get $500 million to offset government funding.
