Review of KPS Alarms:
My home's security system was installed and occasionally upgraded by C&R Systems - the previous owners of what is now called KPS Alarms. Recently I was having some false alarms from sensors at two of the alarm system's stations, so I phoned KPS for help, like I did with the previous company (C&R Systems) for the past 20 years. This time, however, they did not try to troubleshoot the problem over the phone. Instead, they set up an expensive service call for about two weeks away.
Today was the day of my service appointment. It turned out that the only problem was that a few small, common, household batteries (which I had at home) needed to be replaced in the wireless sensors. I could have easily done that myself and saved the nearly $200 for the service call.
The service technician (Eddie, who has worked on my security system before, when the company was still C&R Systems) was great - which is why I gave this a five-star rating, but I wish that KPS Alarms had suggested that I try replacing the batteries in the wireless sensors when I first called. Unfortunately, this is not the same level of support that I had enjoyed for the past 20 years.

Eddie was extremely professional, respectful, efficient, and friendly. Importantly he was on time and responsive. Eddie resolved the issue previously reported to KPS. The only negative feedback point for KPS is that customer service had not briefed Eddie prior to his arrival about the missing switches and touchscreen. Not Eddie's fault, but rather a failure of internal communications at KPS. This is an important area of improvement for KPS. Moreover, prior requests with KPS to schedule an appointment were difficult and required multiple follow-ups. Another area of improvement for KPS. Eddie however receives high marks and 5 Stars for his work. Thanks Eddie!

Installation was great and the service is easy to use. Nice to have the peace of mind this service gives you.

Great experience with Rigo and Dexter. They came to install system and everything went smoothly. Rigo even replaced transformer since it wasn’t working. I would highly recommend.

Rigo was great with setting up the security system and walking me through the wireless access point.
