My kids and I went to Kryptic Tales on a whim on a holiday. We did the Stillwater Asylum and thoroughly enjoyed it! My son and I had done a few escape rooms before, but my daughter hadn't. She absolutely loved the experience. Adam was friendly and the room we did was well-conceived and super fun.

My girlfriend and I did the Mars mission room and it was a blast! Love how well the puzzles all fit perfectly with the theme, just an all around treat. Have done probably around 80 rooms and would definitely recommend this one =)

Did the Stillwater asylum theme and had a great time. Adam was a great host as well. It was my first time doing an escape room and I had a lot more fun than I expected to. Will be coming back!

Definitely a great escape room! Adam was a great Games Master, especially for the two people in our party who had never done an escape room before. We did The Rosenberg Conspiracy and it was equally challenging for us more experienced players and the new players. We will definitely be back to try the other two rooms!

Our experience at this escape room was amazing. We did the Asylum room, and it was definitely challenging enough, but we also felt like we were able to manage it in a group of five. Our game master was so funny and made us feel at home. It was a really fun time. We can’t wait to go back to check out the Mars room. I highly recommend coming to this escape room!

Our Game Master Adam was very kind, helpful, and funny for me and the rest of my group when we first arrived and after we escaped. Once we were in the Operation Ares escape room, we felt like we were actually out in space! Very immersive and fun room with both simple and challenging puzzles. Wish I could wipe my memory so I can play it for the first time again!

We had such a great experience! The game masters and staff went above and beyond to make sure our escape room was as immersive as possible.

Although they do not have the most detailed and high production, the rooms packed way more punch than I expected. There were tons of puzzles that were innovative and creative that definitely tested our group.

I would easily go back again and suggest this to future guests - especially beginners/intermediate!

Great escape room! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, puzzles and story the went along with the mars mission escape room. After having completed at least a good 35 rooms I have seen many different types, and this was a great value! We are looking forward to go back to this location to complete their other rooms as well!

Not only was the room fairly easy, but the kid running the operation was an absolute cuck. In the waiting room, there is a mini fridge next to the couch, implying that the water inside of it is for anybody. I went ahead and grabbed one, since there were plenty of them and we spent like 150$ just to be there for an hour. This kid goes “did you take that from that fridge? ! Don’t do that again. Ask me next time. ” As though he was scolding me. Lucky him, I’m never going back. The vibe was terrible and the room was cheaply made. Go anywhere else but here

I've done 20+ escape rooms at this point, and this is probably the worst experience I've ever had. Did the Ares escape with a group of veteran escape-ers.

Game Master, Rachel, continually interrupted us or inserted themselves into our experience. Even the introduction regarding the rules had multiple examples for each rule - it was about their struggle, not our experience. Didn't have time to figure things out because I was coached through about 50% of the puzzles by the game master, who multiple times, would talk over the walkie talkies unprompted. Rachel made it very clear from the beginning they could hear everything we were saying in every room, but then Rachel used that ability to interject, my group got understandably upset and wanted to leave. Worst GM I've ever had.

The puzzles were also incredibly lacking, as many of them relied on cheap memorization, or were simply time sinks. I wasn't impressed by anything in the room, despite the technology they used - they do have custom computer systems for the puzzles, but all the puzzles are incredibly cheap and boring. The problem is the room falls incredibly flat in creativeness in every way. I would give both the game master, Rachel, and the room, Ares Mars Escape, a 1/5.

Also - $40 bucks for this experience was an extra slap in the face. Most escape rooms are 30-35ish for a better experience.

My friends and I played the Rosenburg Conspiracy the other night and it was great! The puzzles were creative and challenging and our game master Rachel's clues were helpful and well timed. Rachel was welcoming and fun and definitely improved our experience!

I went with some friends recently and had a great time. The hosts are very informative and the rooms look expertly built.
