Kui Shin Bo reviews
14This place is so great! It feels nothing like a restaurant in a mall. It's very charming inside. And the food is amazing. Everything we ate was so delicious. Three sushi and ramen were the best we've ever had. My family is still talking about this meal a week later.
Cute little restaurant in Japan Town. Excellent service and reasonably priced tasty Japanese foods. Love their ramen broth! A nice little stopover bite when visiting Japan Center.
Haven't found something I don't like here. Small, tight place with wait and excellent food.
Came here for dinner tonight and was pretty disappointed. I ordered the veggie miso ramen which turned out to be just noodles in miso soup, with maybe 2-3 pieces of lettuce. There was no other vegetables or tofu or anything I’d expect in a regular veggie ramen dish. The dish felt super lackluster overall but I’m not sure if it was a one off because my friends ordered the veggie tempura roll, chili chicken ramen, and a bento box and were pretty satisfied. If you go for the veggie ramen, I’d recommend checking in on what it comes with first.
Awesome! This place serves up delicious comfort food. You will not be disappointed here. The service was great!
Great ramen.
Took spiciness level 2 out of 4, but it was a bit too hot. Would recommend to take level 1 even if you think you like it spicy
Amazing food as always. Great staff and don't let a line fool you, it is always worth the wait. Always a joy to come here and bring new people to experience it.
Our second time (in this week) going to this place. The sushi is sooo fking good. Ordered volcano roll + spicy crunchy roll. Ughhhh the volcano roll was so delicious! Definitely come n try it if u come to japantown. Plus service is good!
The best place to go if you like to eat Japanese food with vegan options and adaptions. The attention is excellent as well as the prices. Highly recommended!
Got the katsu curry and shrimp tempura roll. Curry was pretty great, sushi was just good for the price. Overall good experience.
I was visiting from out of town and this was seriously the best sushi I have ever had in my life. Absolutely amazing experience all around!
My partner and I order from here all the time! We’ve done take out and deilver. This is some of the best sushi I have ever had. You must get the dragon roll, the shrimp tempura roll, and the baked salmon roll. 11/10.
Not many people know of this gem since it’s inside of the mall. But people who do - come often. Delicious food and nice people, family run place. My husband was a regular when he was eating meat. Now we are both vegan and we order bento box with AvoCu (avocado cucumber) roll that comes with little miso soup, rice, salad and your choice of rolls, their special Veggie Tempura Roll, sometimes order Ramen (it’s on a simple
Side).
Since when did marinated fish become sashimi?
To our surprise, the sashimi mackerel tasted cooked even though it was sold as sashimi and placed in the little bowl with other sashimi fish like little pieces of treasure. The waiter explained the mackerel was pickled with vinaigrette and it was like that when they bought it. Since when did marinated fish become sashimi? That's a new level of creativity.
The texture of the red snapper sashimi was very mushy. Eating it I felt like the fish had been dead for quite a while.
Came in based on the high review. However, was disappointed by the quality of the sashimi. This place definitely is overrated for the quality it deserves.
