Kumon Math and Reading Center of FOLSOM - SOUTHEAST

As an employee, it was a great experience to learn how to work with kids of various ages. It was an amazing experience to work with everyone here!

Working with students for the past 8 was such a fun experience. I learned a lot about interacting with kids and really felt like I was making a difference when helping them learn new concepts.

I completed many years at this Kumon and loved it! Mrs. Nibha was always very attentive and addressed our concerns and all the staff was trained very well!

My daughter was one of Ms. Nibha’s students and recently finished the reading program. Ms. Nibha was always very kind and helpful to me and my daughter and would promptly answer texts and emails. Doing Kumon helped my child’s reading skills so much and helped her excel in her high school courses. All the staff at this center were so nice as well.

I started Kumon when I was in 4th grade because of my testing scores. With the help of Kumon I was able to have the highest reading score in 5th grade and ever since have been in advanced math programs at my school. I am now in the IB MYP and with the study habits that Kumon taught me, to do as much work as I am capable of during the duration of the day, I am able to maintain steady habits throughout my daily tasks.

We had an awful experience at this Learning Center. The head teacher was unprofessional and rude. I also feel like there was some racial connotation to the way she talked to us. If your child is not of Indian descent, please do not bother coming here. There is a high probability your child will be disrespected and looked down on.

I was a student at Kumon for five years and it helped tremendously. Starting in fifth grade and graduating from the math program in freshman year, I learned how to work independently. Although challenging, especially learning advanced math while in elementary, I had the opportunity to challenge myself. It definitely paid off as I understood my high school math assignments so much more than if I did not take Kumon. Overall, Kumon was a huge factor in my success during my elementary and high school years.

Kumon is an excellent program with educators that are willing to go the extra mile to teach. It has allowed for growth in students learning capabilities along with giving them responsibilities outside of school.

When I first came here, within a few months I had caught up a grade level and soon many more. I'm so thankful that I have Kumon to help me. It's made me feel more confident in my reading and has helped me a lot with my math.
I highly recommend Kumon. It's been life-changing.

Kumon was a very helpful program for me! I was able to get ahead of my class at school and helped with my reading skills which I struggled with at school. It challenged me which schools didn't really do.

I first brought my daughter in to Kumon when she was 4 years old. She was able to read before starting kindergarten, which gave her so much confidence! Now that she’s in 4th grade at school, she is above grade level in both reading and math.

Kumon has really helped with my daughter’s vocabulary and comprehension. When she reads books, she can retain the information so much better!

And she has a love of math now. Since she’s above grade level, new concepts at school aren’t intimidating or overwhelming.

The staff at this center go above and beyond for the students! If there’s something new or confusing, the teachers will sit and help until the kid understands. And whenever I want to dos us my child’s progress or talk about how school is going, they make time for me.

My daughter knows how much Kumon is helping her. It can be hard to do homework every day, even during school breaks, but knowing that she’ll never fall behind in school is so worth it.

Kumon has helped me a lot. School was a lot easier and I understood what my teachers were teaching.

I have been going to kumon since 3rd grade. All the staff members here are very helpful and willing to help. Kumon is great if you want your students to be above grade average. For example if your child is in 1st grade, kumon will already be teaching then 3rd grade work. As a previous student at kumon. I loved kumon as a kid. It made me feel like I was number one in school the same way I still am now. It is very helpful in school as it gets you ahead of everyone in class. One life lesson I learned from kumon was that no matter how hard any obstacle is just keep on trying. If you try you are a winner, while if you quit, you are a looser. Forty’s try to attack to the obstacle and if it is extra hard there is always support by you ready to help at anytime. If new I recommend giving it a try. It will help your kid a lot and will make them smarter.

Our daughter was an early reader and we decided to put her in Kumon to support her learning since they weren’t teaching much of that in TK. Her handwriting and spelling have improved so much since joining Kumon. The staff has been very supportive during everything that has been going on. Also, my daughter loves Ms Mariah so much!

My daughter has enjoyed working with Ms. Myriah and we have really liked how supportive and encouraging she is.

We were skeptical if the methods would work but they really have! Our 4th grader is no longer struggling with Math, in fact he says its too easy now. I'm so glad we had Kumon through the pandemic and are continuing it. Thank you
