10/10 food, brought me all the way back to my childhood as soon as the food touched my tongue, 10/10 service, they helped me get my life together and also gave us a free extra spring roll! <33

Delicious piping-hot food at great prices. Waiter/ (owner?) was super friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

Ordered food at 730 pm. Food was bland, no seasoning except for the orange chicken. A few hours later I was violently ill which continued all night. It was the only food I ate that evening so I know it was the cause.
Not at all worth the $60 I paid for 2 entrees and some dumplings.
The reviews convinced me to order here. They are wrong.

The food was pretty decent and the staff was very nice. It hit the spot for my Chinese food cravings.

We had the black pepper beef, salt and pepper tofu, the dimsum, chicken and corn soup, green peas, and general tsao chicken. It was all pretty good!

We have been ordering food from Kung Food for a while and each time it seems to get better. When eating in or taking out, the service is phenomenal.

As for the food, absolutely delicious. The meatless chicken is amazing. It has the texture and taste of real chicken. I am not a vegetarian. My daughter is, and I tried her meatless sesame chicken and was blown away. Since then, I have been hooked. The salt and pepper tofu is also a winner. Not to forget the meat dishes. They are also scrumptious. Portions are huge and no skimping on the meat.

I also have to mention the courteous service. Twice they made a mistake on the order and couldn't have been nicer. They were lightning fast in making a replacement. Overall this is, in my opinion, one of the best Chinese restaurants in the City. When you combine taste, quality and service, hard to beat Kung Food.

The food is great. They have amazing vegetarian/vegan options, we were seriously impressed. Service was quick and the guy at desk was super kind. We live a block away so we will definitely be regulars.

No flavor. Missing items. Oops, we ran out of an item, call your delivery service (Uber Eats) and complain. Ridiculous. Won’t return.

Delicious vegetarian chinese takeout option!

found this place on grubhub and it was really great! I ordered the Kung Pao Tofu w/rice and the vegetarian potstickers.

They accidentally gave me an order of the green beans and they were phenomenal.lots of garlic and good spice!

The veggie potstickers were so good. Thick doughy style potstickers as opposed to wonton ones.came with a yummy dipping sauce!

THE KUNG PAO TOFU IS INCREDIBLE! I love when places *really* cook the tofu and it soaks up the sauce.good ratio of tofu: veggies.

This is definitely my new go-to for chinese delivery:)

Food was great! Steaming hot, flavorful, and filling! Small place but worth visiting if you get the chance. Lunch specials are fairly priced and good portion!

Fantastic for Chinese food. They get super busy, so I understand why the phones are busy. Calling in orders is tricky. They recently opened up their dining area. If you don't mind the hustle and bustle, the food will keep you occupied with flavors and delight. Ordering online helps if you're on a short lunch hour like me.

Y’all this was not good. I order twice cooked pork lunch special ($14) with crab rangoons ($10). Crab rangoons seemed they had been refried twice so they were so tough and dry to chew. Very little filling. Twice cooked pork was pork tenderloin instead of the expected pork belly. Sauce tasted like “everyday Chinese takeout sauce” and was loaded with MSG I got a migraine for the rest of the day. Lunch soup was questionably inedible - I think it was hot and sour? I threw it out. Cabbage and green peppers were good though. Rice also wasn’t great- it didn’t have a nice steamed texture but seemed kind of dry and reheated.

I lived in china for years and wanted to see if the traditional dishes here were any good since the reviews are always so positive but sadly, no. Honestly if the crab rangoons weren’t so bad and expensive, I’d probably give it a 3.5

Solid Chinese restaurant in NOPA. The quality is very consistent. I've been ordering food from this restaurant for the last month. Everything I tried was great.
- Basil beef: good amount of beef, bell pepper and zucchini. I love the flavor of basil and garlic. It's right amount of saltiness and spiciness. 10/10
- Mongolian beef: too much onion otherwise it's a great dish
- Sweet and sour chicken: very good. Well balanced between the sweetness & sourness. Not as good as leftover since you want the chicken to be crispy.
- Shrimp dumpling soup: probably my least favorite since the dumpling skin is a little thick. I prefer thin skins.

Very friendly staff and the restaurant seems to be active in talking about local politics from their posters and flyers (no comment here. Just an observation)

This place is tiny AF but packs a punch. And it's owned by a Chinese rapper so they've got that going for them.
We had a delicious assortment of dishes and the most memorable thing besides the quality was the absence of the never ending thirst that accompanies MSG. There was no trace of the MSG found often in Chinese food, so they deserve credit guess? Appreciated if because it's the reason can't eat Chinese food anymore.
