Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, Los Angeles CA

I've been a regular here for years and know most of the staff by name. Unfortunatly this is the second time we have been treated poorly by Gume. He is rude and pretentious and I am considering not coming back so we don't ever have to deal with this character again.

Had such a great dining experience here last week. It’s a popular place (for good reason) so it stays busy but the staff are on it! The food was fresh and delicious, and the vibe was fun and welcoming. I love waiting for my food to come thru on the conveyor belt. I want to give a special shout out to Beatriz! She was working so hard and was so helpful to the customers, but she also ran a tight ship, worked efficiently, and kept things moving. She was doing so many jobs we thought she was the manager! The wait staff were great, they were attentive and efficient. Jennifer and Gumer were also really nice and attentive. The owners are lucky to have them on their team and their compensation should definitely reflect that. Overall fantastic experience.

Alright, I’m gonna try to keep this short and sweet. I am NOT a sushi connoisseur. To be completely honest I don’t even love sushi that much to begin with. Unpopular opinion- I know. So if you’re like me, this is your spot.

It’s simple, to the point, you get what you pay for, and by god who doesn’t live interactive dining. If you finish 15 plates you get a prize so bring friends. It always seems to be busy and it’s for a reason. Pro tip- get the app and put yourself on the waitlist before you even get there cause man those waits can be long. There’s multiple locations so if you’re on the east side check out the location in little Tokyo. Enjoy!

This place is awesome! First time I've been to a revolving sushi bar and it definitely won't be my last. There's something for everyone here in terms of sushi options, and everything I tried was good. We ate a lot and expected it, but be warned in advance the price adds up quickly, especially with larger parties.

While visiting LA my sweet friend brought me here and it was amazing! The revolving sushi was so cool. The service was amazing! The sushi was delicious and the atmosphere was so great! Price was perfect! The best news is we have one in Dallas! I can’t wait to go back!

Always great food and service, but it can get super long waits. Definitely download the app to book a reservation in advance and see the wait time!

The wait is loooong but the price is right. Download the app to get on the waitlist early. Parking structure below. No sashimi items available. But It was worth it. Dont eat before going to fully enjoy the offerings. Beard Pappas right next door. That was a bad mistake before eating sushi. Totally full.

Went there at 9: 40 pm and waited for an hour.there werent really many types left bc it was before closing.

Super fun! Sushi is good for the price. Be sure and download their App before you go. There's always a line and you can get on the list from the app before you arrive so you don't have to stand around forever.

We order stuff from the computer menu above the table. Everything was good from that menu except the ramen. The ramen wasn't bad, but in a city where you can have top notch ramen there's no reason to order it here. I've had the Udon soup and that was good.

Great place! The food was great and it's wonderful to experience a sushi go-round. After eating 15 plates you get a prize so make sure to stick around long enough.

We waited for about an hour, but it’s worth the wait! The revolving bar and the touchscreen ordering feature are such a fun experience. We ordered the salmon cheek and it’s with a good quantity and quality! Will be back again!

Great quality at a low price. Neat ordering and delivery system. Wait can be a little long, but well worth it.

Absolutely loved everything about this place. My only complaint is that there isn't one on the Western Slope of Colorado.

Ok. So if you're looking for the freshest sushi in town this is NOT it but it's fun for the kids. The sushi is 4/10 and it's better if you order them to be delivered to the table rather then taking them off the conveyor belt. Those get a bit dried out after a bit.

Decent sushi at reasonable price. So much fun to order items from tablet and grab plates off the conveyor.

The food was very good! The price was very reasonable as well and the restaurant has a cute little animation game that gives toys as a prize! My girlfriend cried because she enjoyed it so much!

Cheap and accesible. Although the wait is at least 45 minutes, so I suggest you download the app and check in before you arrive.

Getting your plates can be a trick, but the food is phenomenal and the plates are delicious. Grab the blue fin tuna as its divine. Love this place, but be prepared to wait during meal times. Can be an hour plus depending.

Waiting when there's a crowd sucks and they're terrible at giving you a proper estimated wait time, but if you're willing to wait the sushi is delicious, fresh, and well worth the wait. Just go in knowing this and try to be patient.my 20 minute estimate turned out to be closer to an hour.

Great place, including with kids. Conveyer belt constant bringing new choices, but can also order off an electronic menu and have your selection in 2 minutes. Obviously very popular and the food was excellent and the staff friendly.
