Great little hidden gem. Nice to try something from a lesser-represented part of the culinary world. The laghman is really good and, as other reviewers mentioned, portion sizes are very good.

Deceptive Gratuity: A Misleading Dining Experience.
Today, our party of six dined out. Despite an automatic 20% gratuity for larger groups, the waiter didn't inform us. When paying via the handheld POS, we were led to believe no tip was included, seeing only 3%, 5%, and 7% tip suggestions. Only after paying did we notice the 25% total tip on our receipt. Clearly, the waiter intentionally misled us to pay more.

I ordered takeout and really enjoyed my meal. I ordered everything "Extra Spicy. "
-The Cold Chili Chicken had a good mala spicy kick.
-The dumplings were solid and came with two sauces.
-The Uygheur salad was tasty.
-The lamb kebab was a little dry but had good flavor.

OMG, I just had an amazing lunch in here, we had Uyghur Langman. Samsa, And Polo, Sheep feet, which is new on the menu. Love the foods in here, Prices are very reasonable and dishes are testy. Service is also great. Will definitely visit more often

Having lived in Xinjiang province in early 1990s I’m very familiar with this type of food and was looking forward to trying this restaurant / not easy to find outside Xinjiang. It fell shot: lamb shank wasn’t crispy or cooked enough - kebabs weren’t seasoned in traditional manner and naan was more like trader joe’s reheated on stove definitely not from clay oven. Service was attentive albeit forgetful at time. Menu had nice options - cold cucumber fish was good as was cold chicken - noodles were subpar.

I'm not so sure about these high ratings. I've had Uyghur Cuisine before in China and thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't say the same about this place. Service is something to be desired as well. We asked for an extra plate, but instead got for bowls.which we definitely didn't need.they didn't have enough glasses for water, so ended up handing out plastic cups.

I don't know what happened here. This was no bueno! The eggplant dish was odd. Almost like having diced raw eggplant; chopped up raw eggplant Salad is the best way I can describe this.

Talk about generous portions! This dish was massive, not as many noodles in there though. We ended up ordering another extra side of noodles. The chicken was good, but they served all sorts of extra pieces, like the neck.not used to eating such parts. It did have some good flavor.

Maybe the kitchen had an off day? The beef dish was bland, lacked flavor or spices. Good size portions tho.

~ Braised Lamb Shank With Naan - 5/5
The Lamb Shank was excellent! Great flavor, cooked to perfection, just fell off the bone.not gamey at all!

~ Dumpling - Beef with Celery (10 Dumplings) - 3/5
Dumplings were just mediocre, nothing really to it. Had a of a tough exterior.

Perhaps we went on an off day.

Not good place, nothing from Uyghur cuisine except the music, Laghman is not the way it should be, they just boiled cheap pasta, Kebab should be done freshly in charcoal not in the oven, if it is done in oven it is not kebab, Naan is just spicy pitta bread, totally worse place to go and eat, price are high, not clean

I would recommend the lamb wrap, it’s flavorful and refreshing.
The big plate chicken with noodles is slightly below my expectation. I’ve been to the north-west of China, I know how it tastes. This dish here is a bit light to me, I expect the sauce/broth to taste much stronger and more flavorful. Overall it’s still delicious, not to be picky.

Do not come here, there are noodles for lagman from the store, they don’t pull by hand here and they deceive that they themselves cooked the noodles. The cook is not Uighur and not Kyrgyz, Uzbek or Kazakh at all, the cook is Mexican!

Not clean, price are high, food is not delicious, it is totally worse place to eat, Nothing is Uyghur style, Spanish style laghman, you can taste nothing from real Uyghur food,

The restaurant is small and clean. However, the food is terrible. We ordered the laghman noodle. The noodles were definitely not hand-pulled and they turned into small segments after cooking. The noodles were not chewy at all. They were probably the udon noodles purchased from Costco and not fresh. I can't believe why they would serve this kind of food. The sauce is ok but was totally ruined by the noodles. The lamb wrap is fine but the naan seemed to be from Costco too. The cold chilly chicken was not bad. I don't recommend this restaurant if you want authentic uyghur cuisine.

Will never come again. Naan is from Costco. Lamb Shank was still cold, apparently not fully reheated from precooked. You can definitely get better and cheaper food by just purchasing Costco frozen dishes and reheat them in oven.

Contrary to its chinese name suggest, this is not a Chinese Uyghur restaurant, if you are not into Chinese Uyghur food (xinjiang food), then no problem at all (its okay i guess), but if you are expecting xinjiang cuisine, this is the worst place you can go.straight up falsr advertising
This restaurant should not be called Xiyu Xiaobalang at all, because its cuisine is not so much Western (Xinjiang cuisine) as it is Uyghur cuisine. There is nothing wrong with Uyghur cuisine itself, but you should not use Chinese to promote the food when the actual food It’s not Xinjiang flavor. The big plate of chicken that was served didn’t even have any color, and the baked buns were also made of super small dough that could be eaten in one bite. As a half-Xinjiang person, I can’t accept this level of false propaganda. You just don’t need to advertise it in Chinese. You have to call it Western Region Mini Barang gives people the wrong impression, which is not good. I don’t know the chef, but the waiter is probably not from Xinjiang. Then you are not even Chinese, so there is no need to promote it in Chinese. The experience is extremely bad, and the only thing I don’t give is The reason for one star is because the noodles are barely passable, but they are just passable.

Nice atmosphere inside the restaurant! I had the lamb kebabs and they were fantastic. They were very flavorful and tender. The naan bread came out hot and soft with a little bit of seasoning on it. Overall awesome! I’ll be back to try other menu options!

Special Milk Tea with Butter - (8/10) slightly sweet
Big Plate Chicken - 8/10. Noodles need a little salt but overall good.
Dogap Drink with Sour Cream (4/10) - Flavorless
Lamb Kebabs 羊肉串 - 8.5/10
Braised Lamb Shank 烧羊腿 - 8/10. You get a huge shank that melts in your mouth with amazing flavors. Not gamey at all.

My first time to try food from Uyghur. For me, the flavor is very similar to Chinese food. The service is friendly and kind. Will come again.
