La Bou Bakery & Cafe (Power Inn & Fruitridge)

I remember eating lunch here occasionally 12 or 15 years ago and enjoying it. I also had unremarkable sandwiches at another location 10 years ago and did not return. Today's experience was disappointing. The white mocha was good, but my sandwich was pretty tasteless, even though it had pesto on it. The turkey was thin, cheese had hardened edges, and the croissant tasted stale. The staff was polite and attentive, and the unchanged decor supported my memories. There are two sandwich shops and a burger joint in this strip mall as competition. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing! Sad!

I waited 20 mins for a cup of soup which was just broth. Way overpriced even if it was decent

Bread is pretty good! Sandwich is overpriced for what you're getting. Cashier was more than a little rude. Meh, I probably won't go back.

The staff is still friendly and kind. My order was correct and delicious. They make a wonderful bread pudding and Chicken Caesar salad. This is the first time things felt simi-normal in over a year. Thank you to the staff for still being wonderful and helpful.

We come here often for the lattes and fresh baguettes. Very soft and delicious bread. The staff here is very nice.

Chose to pick up my food this time. Still same great food and excellent customer service. I can also say their latte is quite good. I needed a pick me up and it definitely did the trick as well as tasted great! Thank you for the consistency and delicious food! I am a big fan of the chicken club panini.

Don't have prepared sandwiches and/or salads to view like some other locations. Not to friendly either.

I love their spinach croissants! Still open for takeout orders in the pandemic, taking reasonable precautions. I saw them taking staff temperatures, and everyone was wearing masks, and either sanitizing often or wearing gloves.

I'd like to pay a compliment to this LaBou. I have ordered a ton of Door Dash over the last few months and never once has a restaurant called me when something wasn't in stock or if there was a concern on the order. TODAY, this LaBou called to confirm details on my order and took the extra time to care and I give them a huge thumb's up on the extraordinary customer service. For the amount we pay for door dash, sometimes it feels like we have to live with whatever food shows up so we are appreciative that this location wanted my order to be correct!

Not a good visit. The little short guy was very rude and disrespectful. Poor customer service. I honestly like labou but this one will never get my business again.

My favorite lunch spot. Love the half sandwich half salad. Their Ceasars salad is great! Also, I love the chai tea latte.

They were so nice! Let me in even thought they were flipping the closing sign. I was in my scrubs just off work and they gave me a few cookies to take back to work. And the food was delicious!

Food was good but sort of overpriced. To be expected. Always a fruit fly bugging me during my lunch though which is why I stopped going.

My whole family loves this place everything is delicious and there is something for everybody.
They have bomb vietnamese coffee and fresh soup.
