La Brea Bagel Co reviews
13Most expensive bagel I have ever had. More than twice the price of any other bagel place in the area. I just got an onion bagel, toasted, with a small amount of plain cream cheese and it was $10. Nothing special and not worth the price. Go anywhere else and get the same exact thing for under $4. Probably won't return unless I win the Lotto.
Awful experience. The lady didn’t listen to the order. Got the bagel order wrong. Also there was no cream cheese even on the bagel. Don’t recommend. And won’t be going back. (Image captures what should be an everything bagel with olive cream cheese)
This place is a huge ripoff. $15 for 2 bagels and 2 small flavored cream cheeses. Plus, barely any seeds on the bagels. Never going back.
God made this place happen so people will know what true punishment looks like. The 11th maka from egypt was ordering from this gross place.
Some of the best bagels I have had in a while. I am from LA but my parents are from NY. I know a thing or two about bagels. Super pricey but worth the money! I got the #19, bagel with lox and vegies $14. Purchased a dozen bagels $18 and 2 cream cheese plus an egg salad! All of it was delicious. The jalapeno bagel was my favorite. I spent $54 for everything listed above. I paid cash so didn't received an itemized receipt. I will be coming back here!
$18 dollars for two bagels is highway robbery. I’m from NYC. A BEC and an everything w cream cheese should be $10. Disgusting prices. If I knew how much this would be, I would’ve avoided like the plague. Gross.
AMAZING FOOD. THE STAFF R HELPFUL.def a place you wanna eat breakfast at, if you're looking for the right place
I went there today and I had an absolutely lovely experience! You get to pick whichever coffee you want and pour it yourself so you can choose how much room you want for cream and sugar. They also have great deals like bagel, omelette and coffee for 8.99, which is literally the perfect way to start the morning. Also the bagel was delicious!
I've been getting dosens of bagels here for years, as far back as I can remember, always fresh, chewy, perfect texture. My favorite is the whole wheat everything bagel!
I also have eaten breakfast here several times, delicious pancakes, and the muffins.are just out of this world!
I just paid $8 for an extraordinarily mediocre bagel with lox spread. The everything bagel has no flavor and was kind of tough. This place is insanely overpriced and provides a typical, subpar la bagel. I highly recommend bagel broker down the street instead.
Great food! Awesome bagels! Personal fav is onion bagel with egg, cheese and ketchup! Super fresh and delicious
Staff wear their mask incorrectly and don’t make customers do it either. You’d think the worst it got with COVID people would cooperate. I’m sure the food could be good. But it’s not worth it at all. Thousands are dying a day. No thanks. Lost business because they refused to wear a mask. Sad.
It would be nice if your business started to treat the neighbors and neighborhood with respect. You guys always leave your trash dumpsters bins open for birds and homeless to go through. It’s so disrespectful to the neighbors. Your rubbish blows On our yards because you don’t clean it up ever! Very rude during the Covid crisis. Very unhealthy and unsanitary.
