La Casa del Sazón 2 reviews
14Great place to eat. The food is above a average, but the Original Casa del Sazón (across from the Quadrangle) has better flavor (must be the extra love and attention the cook gives to the food). The service here is awesome as well as the ambient. I highly recommend the Molcahete (not sure if I spelled it correctly). Great place for large groups, too.
Poor service most at the time something missing in the order and take too much time to get refunded the money and don’t refunded the portion the taxes they charged in the original order
1st time being there, it’s very hard to find good Mexican food but I was pleasantly impressed with the food and service and we’ll be going back again for some good homemade food. Thank you!
This place offers the best molcajete and then best carnitas plate in Salinas. The service and food is excellent.
This place is amazing, today is my fourth time coming here and definitely not the last one. The food is delicious they have full bar, the service is excellent, very professional.
Located very close from downtown, restrooms need a little attention but everything else is great
There food is great, my parents really love their food. We also love the home made corn tortillas.
This is my all time favorite in Salinas, Mexican food or otherwise, you cannot find a more delicious menu served by a friendlier group of people.
Great food selection, friendly staff, we were there for my birthday dinner and we were well taken care of from drinks to dessert! Gracias
I always get great service here, whether for takeout or dine in. Employees are nice every time, at both locations. Their blended fruit margaritas are pretty good. I've liked every dish I've tried. Super burritos are gigantic, pupusas chicharrones and fish tacos hit the spot, pescado frito (fried fish) is made to order. It can get really busy, so consider avoiding peak hours.
Dinner was excellent. I ordered a torta de carnitas, but the bread fell apart. That didn't ruin it for me.
Food was very disappointing, took forever to get served, and you could tell it was microwaved, Chile rellenos we're all watery. Not original. Even my soda was messed up, it was flat. The only good thing were their tortillas.
I love this place. Great authentic Mexican food. The hand made tortillas are delicious. The only bad thing I experience this time is the flan. It does not look or taste home made anymore. Disappointed when I took a bite of my flan, to find out that oys not home made.
Decent. I have fond memories of Casa del Sazon. I think by offering so many menu options their food went from very good to mediocre.
We went as a group. The quesabiŕria looked good but the dip (conzume) had about a 1/4 inch of grease/oil. The tostada de Camaron (shrimp) was bland and the shrimp were overcooked yet cold. I had the gordita plate. The pastor came in clumps within the gordita shell and half of the gordita (at the end) was just beans. The dry birria plate was light on actual birria.
I think this place owes a lot of their reviews to the molcajete dish that looks awesome. The other dishes not special at all.
I will just leave this here.horrible.just horrible.from food to service. Taco bell would have been 5 stars compared to this place.and this chick can't stand taco bell!
