La Esquinita Baja Grill Seafood reviews
7 This place was recommended by a co-worker of mine. I ordered 2) Pescado Ceviche and 2) Camarone Ceviche and 1) Fish Taco
for $37.50. Take out/ I ordered at the restaruant, and the wait time was 15 mins given to me by the server. The order was ready, and bagged for me to take so I headed home after i ate my taco in my car ;-) The taco was flavorful but had no crunch to it (soggy) and fell apart lol.when i got home i noticed that the ceviche condiments (salsas, avocados etc) were all missing, and they only gave me 2 sets of tostadas and not 4 (i ordered 4 different ceviches. I wasn't in the mood to waste my gas, time, and 5oclk traffic energy to go back and help them correct this error. Overall i feel like I've wasted my time and money on the recommend restaurant and I won't be returning or suggesting them to anyone.
We came for lunch around 2 pm, ordered and sat down but the cook had a family problem and had to leave. In comes Lisette, our server! She took matters into her hands and prepared meat, shrimp, and octopus tacos, rice, and beans. She saved the day. Having attentive and courteous employees is important in this business. We will come back to have the meal we couldn’t have. In the meantime say thanks to Lisette and give her a raise.
I tried 3 different tacos, octopus, shrimp, and fish and they were all delicious. Everything from the tortilla to the cabbage were flavorful. The outdoor area was cute and overall it was very chill and low-key on a Saturday at 4: 00 p.m. I'll definitely go back for some more tacos.
Really awesome service. Nice people and fantasticly fresh food at great prices!
This little spot was great. We went around lunch on a Sunday and were able to get a table immediately. The service was top notch, special care was placed on covid precautions which is always welcome. The food, the food was amazing. The calamari was fried to perfection. We got the salmon tostada bowl, and a seafood cocktail. Both were great, will definitely go back to try a few other menu items that caught my eye.
Ceviche is made with cooked shrimp, onions, cilantro, and ground tomatoes and served on top of nachos. It's a decent ceviche, and I don't recommend it if you don't like sour foods or seafood.
The salmon was a bit thin, but cooked well, and there was salad and black beans underneath.
This spot has amazing food! Everything is so flavorful, tasty, and at a good price. They have taco tuesdays (the tacos are a little smaller than their regular tacos, but still so delicious). Their house sauce is also amazing. I am looking forward to coming here for world cup games.
