Absolutely delicious! I tried spice beef, mushroom cheese and arabe beef, all exquisite, totally recommended, you can't miss this delicacy! Eye! It also has cheese for children:)

I love empanadas, but I'm a little picky about them. I don't like the frozen type found in supermarkets (chemical additives make my stomach sour, not to mention that the ingredients are rarely top-quality) and I don't like the fried type so common in central American countries (too greasy, too heavy. At least for me). Argentinian empanadas to me are the best: good size, baked and delicious. La Farola Empanadas makes NEAR PERFECT empanadas that are 100% homemade and delicious. But they don't just serve empanadas. They also have Argentinian-style sandwiches, pastas and "Milanesa. " The latter is an Argentinian take on the Italian "cotoletta alla Milanese" (Milan-style fried cutlet), which this restaurant offers in several variations. We tried several empanadas and they were all delicious. My personal favorite was the Salteña, which comes with ground beef and potatoes in a very flavorful spiced (not spicy) sauce. I also tried the Lomito sandwich (steak sandwich). Also very flavorful and satisfying. The steak fries that came with it were also excellent (crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, right amount of salt). The prices are reasonable, especially in these times when food prices have reach crazy heights. Service is courteous and reasonably fast (you don't want any faster, it's not fast food). The restaurant only accommodates a few tables (take-out is far more popular here), but it's very clean. Highly recommended.

The service was very bad, we were waiting for her attention because several of the family were there and I didn't want to be rude by hitting the tables without permission, she saw us standing waiting and completely ignored us while she was talking to two gentlemen.
Just like we are all customers but we decided to go to another place.

I was looking for empanadas to take for a "RC build night" that takes place every month and I found La Farola's. They have the BEST spicy beef empanadas which are very good size as well. I ordered four for lunch and I was only able to eat two. For the build night I ordered a dozen and every single one of them was gone. Next time I need to order more. The owner is super nice and you can tell she really enjoys introducing empanadas to the uninitiated. I will definitely be back for lunch and for another build night.

Every time I drive to California I go out of my way (40 miles last time) to make a stop at La Farola and load up on empanadas for my trip and to take back home. Riquísimas empanadas caseras! Gracias!

It’s really good and I highly recommend the meat empanadas and sandwiches I really loved the fries I will definitely be coming back soon!

This place doesn’t have any type of Mexican Epinadas, the kind for desert.

They also have Arab style food.

Delicious Lomitos sandwiches and Milanessa sandwiches, milanesas Napolitanas! They all come with a side of Steaks fries!

Amazing food! I wasn't sure what to order first but to be honest, everything I ended up getting was delicious. It's a really nice place, we'll maintained and kept clean. Much nicer than the typical small food place. Their desert pastry is a must!

Overall, I cannot recommend La Farola enough. It is a true gem in Costa Mesa, and I guarantee you will leave with a full belly and a smile on your face.

Great variety of empanadas. Really friendly service and fair prices. We also had the apple cake which was excellent! Very casual and clean. I recommend this spot!

For 40 years I have eaten empanadas but never with the flavor and quality of this place!

This place is awesome! The empanadas were fresh, filled completely, flaky and delicious! We got 4 different ones and each one was amazing, but definitely use the chimichirri they give on the side, it is amazing and takes everything up another notch. My young kids only wanted pizza and there was so much cheese on it the kids were blown away, they loved it. My youngest son really wanted a dessert on the way out so we got some to take home and they were amazing as well. If I lived closer I’d be here everyday but I will definitely travel out of my way every chance I get to order from here. They were so kind and helpful and the food is hands down delicious!

Ohh abs the empanadas are so authentic and delicious! If you never been here I I highly recommend! The establishment is so clean! There is plenty of accessible parking!
