LA Fitness, Rancho Palos Verdes CA

This has got to be the worst LA fitness I have ever been to. There is no jacuzzi. The warm tub is not very warm. I will not be back.

Best gym experience ever! Love the atmosphere and all the machines. The place itself is beautiful and friendly. Can’t say enough! Love it!

I actually love this place but the heater is blasting so strong I can't workout there anymore because the cheap fake heat gives me headaches.
Never been in a gym where the temperature feels like 90!

Friendly staff, great environment and a good selection of free weights. The personal trainers are very professional and helpful. I give it a 4 due to missing some amenities like a steam room or sauna.

All I could say is. Love this place just wish they could stretch the hrs out. Little more, but well no ones perfect. LOL

Been enjoying my workouts.but the men's locker room and bathrooms can get really dirty. I have saddly had to tell front desk about it many times. BUT overall it's a great gym.

Love the updated machines and water fountain. Only gripe I have had to do with people putting back their weights. That would not happen at my home LA Fitness. I guess it is just that LA F the world mentality. If you can't put back the 90 pound dumbells you just used, it is too heavy for you.

Go there 4-5 times a week. Everything redone last year, new equipment, pool, etc. Friendly staff and great facility!

Clean gym and really great for the price of the membership. I would not go during lunch hours as it is always packed.

Clean and very nice inside. They have all new equipment and I love the power rack they have with the adjustable bars. Perfect for rack pulls or any other exercises that require weight overload

It's a big corporate gym, but it's really affordable and it's got really good equipment. You're better off if you don't come during peak hours though otherwise you might have to wait for a squat rack. They have classes and personal training but this place I think is best for those that want to come use the equipment and don't need external motivation or hand-holding.

Much better after the remodel. Filtered water fountains are a nice touch. There's always a faint smell of budissy every time i go tho.

Worst customer service and hours
You can’t even use some stuff during peak hours.horrible management.

Its a clean, neat, consistently well maintained gym with a more than adequate selection of equipment.

The new improvement is great.
It would be nice to find it clean at 5: 00am.
But it almost always looks likes this.
NOT CLEAN AT ALL.
I'm sure they can pay someone 1 hour extra.

Dumbells only go up to 100, and there's no sauna nor steam room. Overall has everything you need in a gym, but it's lacking in the heavy weights and spa facilities. Members are HORRIBLE at putting their weights back, and the staff rarely seems to rectify the issue.

They just updated the whole place. November 2016. I don't live near but when in town I still come by and use.much cleaner now finally!

The entire place has been remodeled with everything redone including the pool, locker rooms, and all equipment. It is finally a high class gym fitting its location. The staff is much more pleasant and they aren't looking at their cell phones every second. They actually greet you when you come in and say good night or good day when you leave. I love working out here now.

Following the remodel, the place is unrecognizable. Before it was dingy and drab. I'm a gym rat so I would've come no matter what but I now look forward to being here. I'm surprised it's not considered one of their Signature (more expensive) clubs.

They recently renovated the gym, I think it is one of the best gym i ve ever been at.
Everything is new and high end and it doesn't smell any more.
