Gym LA Fitness reviews
28I appreciate that the club reopened recently. However, many of the guests do not wear face coverings even though it is a state requirement for any public indoor places. The club's management does not seem to enforce it which makes many guests feel uncomfortable and unsafe to visit and work out in the club, especially considering the increasing number of positive COVID-19 cases in Orange County. The safety of the guests does not seem to be a priority to the management of LA Fitness.
I like the gym, but it does tend to get messy with weights scattered and put in the wrong place. The forced mask wearing is a turn off and makes the workouts unpleasant.
The staff is very unprofessional and putting thier members in harms way of covid 19! When you make a incident report, dont do it with RYAN TALESH hes very unprofessional and doesnt care about the saftey of the customers.
Amazing facilities for daily exercise and body works. They have all kind of classes to enhance your performance and fitness. I love their private training corner and the yoga sessions. Zumba is something fun to do
Love this gym. Clean, great selection of equipment. Clean showers and bathroom. Great place to start off a power morning.
Never never never be member of la fitness!
Never never never buy personal training!
They are vampires!
Place is trash. Packed. So much for wanting to work out after work. Not sure if it’s California having too many people but LA fitness needs to adapt and step up to the plate so their customers get their money’s worth and not have to stand around with their fingers in their butt waiting for equipment to free up. Good luck finding parking
This LA Fitness is your normal LA Fitness. The cardio equipment is located on the second floor. The machines are in the front. The back has your free weights. I wish there were more squat racks. The free weight space is limited. It’s good for the amount you pay. You can get a $30.00 a month no enrollment if you push your sales person with all LA Fitness gyms
I call to ask a question about my membership and the phone service was horrible. The lady was rude and hung up on me while I was talking to her.however the manager Armando is awesome because he help me with my questions after that situation with the lady. Thank you armando!
Nicest looking gym ever walked in. Service is great as usual considering this gym has a lot of programs and benefits. Though, I dislike the benches the most. This gym still uses old equipment compared to other gyms I go to. Other than that, solid place to go to.
A year ago, I decided to end my membership I walked in and talked to the manager explained that I would like to terminate my membership I signed some forms and stuff and I thought I was done with it. Today I realized he didn’t terminate the membership he suspended it and every month since then they are charging my credit card. Outrageous.
Nice clean gym with friendly staff. Occasionally hard to get a spot on some equipment during peak hours though.
Pros:
- Equipment is in good condition and gym is nicely designed.
- Patrons are a polite and staff is friendly.
- Sauna and jacuzzi come with membership.
- Tons of cardio equipment available upstairs.
Cons:
- No towel service.
- Hard to find a spot on popular equipment during peak hours.
Great equipment, wonderful amenities. This location has a serious problem with capacity, though, and they continue to sell memberships to the place causing even more problems. I wouldn't recommend this location at any time after 2PM.
Went there when Woodbury location was bring remodeled. Will never return, no wonder there were so many ceiling fans. The place was so hot and, the air conditioning was either in adequate or set too for 80 degrees.
Clean facility, really nice staff, really friendly people working out (I work out in the morning). Parking is easy, hours are good
Looks great on the outside. It could be much cleaner on the inside. The equipment are not cleaned often.
One star taken off for slow remodeling work on one section that took months.
One start taken off for the manager who was threatening me on the first day that I cannot have my own trainer there just because my friend looked well-built!
Would have given it a higher rating but the wifi is just awful. Other than that it's a great gym.
Good place to work out, a lot of young people which motivates everyone to work out. If you are a group classes person then there are plenty of dance class, yoga and many more. If you would like personal training there are plenty of trainers who are certified. You also get an exclusive training place which can be accessed by people with Personal training program only. I give it 4 stars because it really busy and crowded at times.
This location is bigger, brighter, and cleaner with more variety of equipments compared to the one on Irvine Blvd. Zumba classes with Raquel are my favorites!
