La Huerta Vieja reviews
13If you like good meal that seems home cooked, this is the place for you. Reasonable prices and fast service that can’t be beat. It’s always a stop whenever I have business at Save Mart Corporate.
The most welcoming family and staff! My husband and I have been going for years. Food is delicious. Not a bad meal on the menu!
Rice & Beans had excellent flavor! The texture of the masa on the tamale was also good.it wasn't dry. Took off a star for the green sauce- it was too bitter. Other than that everything was good. It was our first time here and we'll be back.
The staff is friendly and courteous. However, the owner has the worst customer service skills. I cringe every time I see him. He is not friendly at all. He’s rude and should not be waiting on tables. Let his staff take care of the tables as they truly know what customer service is.as a customer service trainer, I recognize when customer service is excellent and when it is not up to par. You should be embarrassed that his staff does better at this job than he does. I don’t understand why he’s even waiting on tables. He is definitely not a people person.
Everyone treats you like family.
Frank, his family, and staff strive to give their absolute best to all customers.
Haven't been here in something close to 20 years. I hate and avoid Modesto. Got the shrimp enchiladas like I used to today. Was always my favorite thing here and if anything they've improved. La Huerta is a light in the darkness. Thank you so much.
This is a great Mexican restaurant. I had some taquitos. They were delicious and filling. The service was excellent. Just enough attention to feel genuinely welcome, but not so much that you feel disturbed. This is a place I will enjoy coming back to.
Awesome customer service. I met the owner he's very friendly and kind to his customers. The food here is so so good I highly recommend this place. You won't regret it.
Their margaritas were good but the enchiladas were ok. The meat had a taste when it’s being kept in their refrigerator too long. I understand that lots of restaurants don’t make their meats fresh everyday but the taste was just awe full.
The food was okay, nothing to come back for. Cheap on meat, get plenty of rice and beans or bell peppers. Girl server's were very slow, but the man who looked like an owner waited other tables he was running around working hard. My grandparents were also very dissatisfied.
Love this place! They are prompt and friendly, and the food is always delicious! We adore the chicken fajitas!
Had the Ponchito Burrito which was HUGE. I had it made wet w red sauce, w carnitas inside and it was delicious. The rice was fluffy and the guacamole was bomb, but expensive. The staff was nice, attentive, and cheerful to every table. I liked how (what seemed to be the owner) would check in on every table and help out the waiters a bit. Big plates, clean restaurant.
Food was very flavorful, and great staff. Chips immediately upon sitting down, with amazing bean dip. Definitely will be back for more enchiladas.
