La Jolla Group Campsite reviews
7The Best location for the family. Clean restrooms, hiking trails, wonderful view, and secluded.
Great place, right across the PCH from the water. Flush toilets and showers.
This was a really nice campsite. I went here for church camp. The location was really beautiful and scenery was very nice.
It is great place to be I went backpacking there recently and although there where no other people I still had a great time! The only hard part is the beginning because we has to wear a mask all the way up because of the people there. The good part is that the only hard part is the beginning and the rest of the way is super easy and flat. I would not suggest going there and you are super scared of the wildlife because I ran into a bobcat and at night it was moving around the campsite. Also, there are two group sites which have two picnic tables each all of the others have only one but are more enclosed with only one entry and exit which might keep most animals out. When you visit make sure to put everything that is edible or that you can smell into the bear box because you do not want a mountain lion sleeping in your campsite! Otherwise I had lot of fun and I can't wait to go there again with a little larger group!:) Stay safe and I hope you have lots of fun! Wow this is a long review.
I live right over the road from here so I come here to contemplate on a regular basis. Generally, an exceptionally strong coffeehouse in the event that you are hoping to contemplate, visit with companions or drink some great espresso.
I came here as part of a Boy Scout outing and I must say it was quite nice. There was plenty of room for several tents and a picnic area complete with tables and a water faucet. You do have to keep an eye out for the local wildlife as we found a nice sized rattlesnake eating rats by the tables but the rangers were able to come by to chase it off. My one complaint is that the showers didn't have hot water but at least they were free of charge. The beach is just one mad dash across the PCH just mind the traffic. I would for sure come back with the troop.
