La Jolla Indian Campground reviews
18 What a magical place!
They have got full hook-ups for rv's
They have got tent camping areas, there are great locations with a lot of shade, fire rings, hot showers, clean portable restrooms all around.
There are many places for the kids to play, including a small river that runs through the creek (as of 2/18).
No cellphone reception, Verizon can get some in the gas station/ small market on top of the road at the entrance.
The kids have alot to do there,
Will definitely come back for more!
Called to see if we can use ATV dune buggy /go karts quads but lady on phone said no that area is a different owner I don't no their name or phone number or name of the location to use the atv can someone please help as I do see quad pictures on this site on open dirt land. How is this where is this?
My favorite place to camp. It has a river. Nice areas to set up tents. They also have a store at the top of the camp ground that's very useful.
Good for over day trip good gas prices and it's got a nice little store and a little gambling casino tiny but it's fun
Stop there on the way to the desert, grab some road sodas, take a bump in the parking lot and play a slot machine or two. Good times.
Gorgeous location and well maintained. Bathrooms were clean and restocked every day and the employees were friendly and helpful
Amazing experience! Definitely worth the drive and overall I've zero complaints except for the bathrooms! They were disgusting but I felt amazing afterwards regardless. 10/10 and can't wait to go back but this time with water shoes for the shower haha.
I frequently take drives to go to and around Palomar Mountain. Most every time I'll be driving by the La Jolla Indian Reservation. Their fuel at their gas station is cheaper than where I normally fuel up and much cheaper nowadays. I decided to go there to see if the zip line was still operating. It is. I believe they said it was Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with the need for reservations. I was on the zip line when they first opened it up and it was pretty cool. There are actually 5 zip lines that will take you from where they bring you to back down to the bottom of the Mountain. The going rate is $125.the people are friendly and very helpful. There is camping also but at this point in time there isn't any water in the creek. That's why I gave it three stars. So if you're up in that area drop on by check it out for yourself.
Great place to camp, with or without, the river. The staff here is always nice and the grounds were kept is good shape. Porta potties look new and very clean. I definitely recommend this place for camping!
Great camping area to come visit the budget has impacted the reservation where they had to close the Waterpark but it's a great low cost campground where you can visit and learn about the reservation. I had a wonderful experience.
We went for a day, and even for a day trip it's such a beautiful place. It was Sunday so it was a bit more tranquil compared to Friday's & Saturday's. No leeches:)
Camp ground was nice. We stayed m- th, so it was quiet. I hear the weekends are busy.
Facilities needed to kept up. That was a bummer. No dumpster pick up was bad also. Again, after a super busy weekend all the Facilities needed a clean up.
Site 8 was tiny, but thats my bad. At least no one was next to us.
Bugs and flies abound. To be expected though especially near a river
Easy to make reservations online, clean campground and plenty of campsite space with tables. The kids had fun in the river even though the water level was low.
I absolutely LOVE it here and I'm looking so forward to coming here again! I went with my family for a night and it was weird at first because I felt so nasty when I got there after getting freshly out of the shower from home which is not that far just an hour and 15 minutes away from here to be exact. Our neighbors were blasting music that me and my family were turning up to lol we even blasted our own music too everyone was doing their own thing. The inner tubing is such an amazing experience. There's so much to do here, 10/10 recommend bring your family and kids here they'll love it!
It is changing alot. You have to make reservations now. Also eliminated alot of trash cans around campsites and now just have dumpsters around certain locations you have to take/drive your trash to No longer allow utility tents for showers or to set up your own toilets.
It was really fun it's just there was a lot of rocks so it was bumping if u go u need to learn where there are lots of rocks
Amazing campground with hot water showers fresh air pretty scenic views good to get away on more weekend or whenever you feel like had such a great time here plus the water is flowing very nicely around this time perfect for tubing kind of rocky so keep that in mind otherwise it's a beautiful campground with a nice trading post up the street which also has its own casino as well which I thought it was pretty cool then when you're driving here you can see pechanga and all the other casinos highly recommend visiting no doubt.
