La Michoacana Ice Cream Parlor reviews
21I had to bring this place to a 1 star. We bought a floating lemonade which they prepared awfully, 2 fresas con crema that was basically mix whipped cream with sweeteners. I also was trying to buy a chicharron preparado and they wanted to givee everything separate and prepare it my self at home. And that not being enough I bought a paleta de nuez that tastes like frozen milk with pecan. The staff was friendly but very bad trained, they don't even make the effort to make look good.
Not sure what is going on lately but the raspado machine is always "broken". When I've gone even a whole hour before close they don't want to make anything. Everything is already put away. Why just not close earlier in that case. This location has gone downhill these last couple of years.
Love the place personally it's good but some of the customer service seem like they're having a bad day or don't wanna be there whoever was working Tus, Jun 29@ 620pm the two girls who helped me out and lately I've been seeing some really bad customer service lately so that need to be worked on
I be sad everytime I come here. They never got milkshakes. My brothers like the ice cream but I be really disappointed when they don't have milkshake or run out of milk.
They always run out desserts and snacks. Every time I come here they either run out or don’t want to make it.
Magonadas are the go to. The fresh waters (aguas frescas), like horchata, limeade, strawberry All taste home-made
Got a lemonade with chia and was not good at all it tasted as if some lemons didnt work and the tostilocos were nasty also that's the worst michoacana
This was the most gross ice cream place that I’ve been to, and this is unbelievable that their was a frozen worm inside my icream.
This was my first time having Mexican dessert. I didn’t really enjoy the mango and tamarind but I think it’s an acquired taste. Staff was very kind!
I ordered a small mangonada and it was, as our president would say, "Huge. " I was not able to finish it and ended up giving it to my brother.
We got 2 large mangoneadas. It was NOTHING what we were expecting. It was ALL ice cream.they were good.but not crazy good! Wont be coming back.
The menu is near the door and the lines are so long, the you can barely see it. The customer service can improve more; because some staff members make you feel rushed, a ND want to get you out of there so fast that u nearly have no time to ask, taste, or even think. The prices are a Lil elevated; but I know it's a franchise and the rent needs to be paid; but I sure love the water based icecream. That's all I go for! The strawberry, mango, and lemon icecream is the bestin my opinion:)
They have bad customer service, if you see the line keeps adding up you should help out the customers instead of taking out trash.
My honest opinion
Place looks nice
Price medium water (which was a liquado to thick)
Waiting time tooo long come on! 4 girls in the back only 2 in the front helping customers with a long line.
3 stars I love the corn cups but they don’t add flavor to the bottom of the cup.second time this has happened.and also ask for Oreo ice cream and the lady gave me some type of vanilla ice cream.
Had a mangonada and corn from there last night and the corn gave me food poising won’t ever get it again but might go for the mangonada since you can’t get that anywhere else
If you're looking for a snack, and a little something different this is the place for you. I've only been here once but I was extremely satisfied with the Mangonada <3
I like to give a 5 star to la michoacana in Palmdale boulevard for the great and friendly fast service the 0ne on 47 and R ave they very slow and and not friendly are all trained them please
Greeting the customer with a smile that's what brings them back but I'm sorry to say a lot of them do not smile.
Delicious! Love the paleta selection! Mangonada wasn't that great but their selection is amazing and everything else I've had has been good. I only gave it 4 stars because the store is too damn small and usually crowded, and because it's crowded you have to yell over the other customers (and the loud music) to the people taking your order and the prices could be better. Oh and better description of each item on the menu would be helpful because while I am Mexican, I don't speak or read Spanish (thanks a lot Dad) and sometimes i pass on ordering something because idk what's in it and I don't feel like yelling back and forth with the girl over the counter.
