La Monarca Bakery & Cafe reviews
15Very good palmiers. The crossisants' layers are to par. The filings were really light, but i would go back to try other variations of pastries. Nice vibe inside. Loved the cafe de Olla. If you like horchata, I'd recommend you to try that drink. I had it hot.
The service here is atrocious the absolutely the worst the woman here are bitter and rude and they give the worst service and when I told and explain of their rude behavior they gave me the mollete the food I ordered bad and the soy chorizo tasted rotten very very bad service
This is a great coffee shop with sweet bread/ pan dulce. The bread is pretty good. I like that they have several filling options as well, including chocolate, guava, cream cheese. I like the Jamaica drink, which they can make into a smoothie for these summer days. Staff is very friendly and the place is clean.
Their drinks taste amazing. I recommend you to try Mexican chocolate it tastes absolutely amazing
This place is always so slow and they consistently forget my order and make me late for work. Which is so ridiculous considering they don’t actually make the food there they just microwave it for u. This place is overpriced trash
Very disappointed with there costumer service the cashier was rude and tried giving my husband what he didn’t order and when he told her hey this isn’t what I ordered she ignored him and went to take another costumers order. Lady if you don’t want to work or you don’t like your job look for a new one.
The woman working the counter, the shift manager, was rude and racist towards a black customer. She charged people and did not prepare their orders for 30 minutes. She did not ask her coworkers for help. She was extremely rude. This happened on March 6 around 6pm.
It's awful that they supose to close at 9 pm, but they already closed at 8 pm! Even if they are still there, they didn't want to give any service! If the opening hours are not accurate, just correct them to not waste customer's time!
Staff was wonderful and attentive. I mostly come in for their seasonal bread like their Day of the Dead Bread and King's Cake. Make sure to come early in the day for the freshest items if you plan to buy in bulk and share.
I stopped coming here since they changed the staff the nice manger that worked here has left and the bread mostly their pan dulce is very dry or the cupcakes they were selling was also dry.
Great customer service!
Food is Delicious!
Cafe de olla is the best!
I recommend giving this place a try.
Vanessa is a kind and helpful person! The entire staff is super friendly and helpful as well!
The store has a nice ambiance and the food tastes wonderful. The Mollete Chorizo + Chips Combo is vegetarian friendly and tastes so good. 10/10 would recommend!
Also - definitely in love with the Mexican Blended Chocolate + a shot of espresso & cinnamon.
Stop by on a hot day!:)
Cafe de Olla very disappointed. Medium size $4.50 threw it away after 4 sips. Taste like burnt coffee. Won't be buying that coffee there again. By the way, Cafe de Olla is made with "Piloncillo" to get that de Olla taste.
Good Service.
Took my elderly mother out for coffee for the first time since the pandemic started. She felt good and comfortable at this place being that it's so big and clean. She also loved the coffee.
Amazing coffee and professional and friendly staff. I will go out of my way to come to La Monarch Bakery any time I am in the LA area
