The restaurant is a bit hard to locate, but there is plenty of free parking.

Second time here. It’s a nice place but if the music was softer and lights dimmer, it would be a more intimate setting not so noisy. They may not want that because they wouldn’t be turning as many tables. But maybe customers would be ordering more and enjoying the meal a bit longer. Food could of been warmer when served, preferably hot. It is tasty.

Went here with my parents and absolutely enjoyed the experience. We ordered the Bruchetta trio and margarita pizza. Both items were phenomenal and we will definitely be back. As an added bonus the parking is plentiful and free.

Bring back your brunch. I walked out, along with another party, because brunch is no longer served. If you don’t serve brunch at 11 AM then you might want to reconsider changing your hours. I don’t think I could eat a big bowl of pasta at 11 AM. I will return for dinner one day, as the menu looks solid. Cute interior and vibe. However, there was no soap in the ladies room (I had to tell the hostess) and the dining chairs were dirty. I had to clean my seat in front of the hostess before sitting down and my friend had to choose another seat because hers was covered in wine spots.

La Pastaia is a wonderful restaurant. The food is top notch, atmosphere/decor is on point, and the staff is so welcoming. I'm a regular customer and always have the best experience! I had my birthday dinner here the other night with a big group of friends and everyone was equally as impressed as I am with their experience!

My husband and I went here for our 10 year anniversary. Maria served us tonight and was super attentive and a delight to chat with. The food was amazing! Best Italian I have ever had! Very authentic and the atmosphere made you feel like you were sitting in Italy! Would definitely come back again and would highly recommend to anyone. I would rate 15 stars if I could!

Nice pasta place, it was all pretty good however I would say the pasta was a little salty. I would still come back and try more though, because it was just newly opened when I dined here, so I would be happy to give it another chance!

I seen this place on Tik Tok and I had to spend my birthday here. Maria (one of the beautiful owners) served my family and I. She made my birthday so wonderful and special. Her food was absolutely amazing. Our table
Of 11 ordered appetizers, entrees, pizzas, and multiple bottles of wine. My favorite wine was the one gifted by Maria, it's from her home town in Sicily. Smooth and light and paired wonderfully with my filet and fettuccine porcini tarfuto with shaved truffle. YES! I ordered two entrees and why not? It's my birthday and I'll order 2 entrees if I want too. LOL! Of course I couldn't finish it. And it was even better for lunch the next day. Ha! The decor of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, elegantly designed. The staff is vivacious and friendly, the bartender even gave me a double birthday shot of tequila, so smooth! Top shelf! The tiramisu, served in the pink and blue espresso moka pots is the cutest, yet so yummy. Maria ended my birthday night with the sweetest shots of Amaro, bedda, I loved every moment! I highly recommend La Pastaia! You will love every moment!

We really enjoyed our dining experience. Decor definitely gave us the vibe of eating in Italy, and the food did not disappoint. We will gladly return!

Bad service tasteless food, worse carbonara I had in my life (spaghetti drench in cream) my wife had a cucumber spritz cocktail, no cucumber instead they put zucchini, just terrible.

My personal best italian experience ever so far! I didn’t realise italian cuisine could provide as much variety. Our host/server Sergio took absolutely great care of us, being polite and helpful to us in understanding what we can order. Definitely would revisit if I am back in San Diego

Our first time here was extremely impressed. The atmosphere is beautiful. The service was top notch and the food was amazing. So happy that we now have a great new gem of a restaurant in our town.

Discrimination if you don’t ‘look’ wealthy Don't GO!

Went to La Pastaia for dinner and I was clearly discriminated against, most likely because of the type of clothes I was wearing (shorts, a t-shirt, and flips).
Firstly, just for the waiter to come took 15 minutes even though the restaurant had around half of its tables occupied. After waiting I ordered a Fettuccine Porcini E Tartufand & Cacio E Pepe Al Tatufo pizza, the most expensive items in their respective category.

But that wasn't enough for me not to be discriminated, the Pizza came and was very good but what my wife expected was the pasta made on the parmesan wheel supposedly on our table, which to our amazement didn't happen, the pasta arrived and simply was left on our table, which made me notice the service at other tables, where the same pasta was made in front of each customer without exception, and with the interaction with questions, for example, if the customer wanted pieces of cheese or if they wanted it to be shared in two plates, but this didn't just extend to the chef who prepared the pasta, the waiter gave even better treatment to the other tables, checking each one every 2 minutes offering grated cheese, crushed red pepper and the more wealthy the customer looked The treatment was better!
By the end, my bill took around 12 minutes after I asked, even though the waiter had passed by my table 4 times, I could see him playing with colleagues in the kitchen wasting his time without worrying about me.
I have never felt so discriminated in my entire life.
It would be a typical case of a lawsuit where my wife, as a lawyer, clearly saw the discrimination simply because of our clothing or appearance.
