16$14.00 ($13.84) for a burrito with no tip. $14! Don't get me wrong the food is great, but there's no gold in these burritos that i can find.
Came here to get my first California burrito in San Diego. It was pretty good, but I was disappointed with how small it was.
I spent a month in Tucson prior to SD and every burrito I had there was much bigger than what I received here.
Incredible place to get some amazing Mexican food! Got a burrito (the Al pastor and California), INCREDIBLE! Arguably best burrito I’ve had in my life
Highly recommend, good prices fast service
Alright, overpriced burritos. You can certainly give better around. If you were driving by and wanted to be done with errands and go home, it'll serve it's purpose.
The food wasn’t bad. However they were scummy and charged me an extra $70 dollars more than my bill should have been.
Best burrito in San Diego. Every time I have someone visiting from out of town I take them
here. It’s too good to pas up. Both locations are amazing.
Okay so on flavor alone this place would get 5 stars easily. It's my favorite place to get a carne asada burrito, at least until now.
When you get a burrito in San Diego (really, anywhere in so cal), it's an unwritten rule that it should be hefty enough to be difficult to finish in one sitting. That's how every good place is, and that's how this place was up until a few days ago. Look, I get that inflation is crazy high, prices need to rise, shrinkflation, whatever. What I got was more of a mini burrito - like half the size it should be.
At least add the option of ordering the original size, even if it costs more. By the end of a burrito I should be breathing heavily with the meat sweats, not feeling well enough to run a 5k.
Terrific Mexican street food in a casual, nondescript storefront. I was skeptical when I first saw the soupy consistency of the enchilada sauce but was won over by the delicious flavor. It also packs some heat. The beef taco was flavorful with tender meat, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes and a spicy salsa. The green salsa is citrusy and the red salsa is smokey and rich. This place is doing something special; give it a try.
Tacos were amazing (chicken and battered fish). Area and environment is not the most desirable but food is worth the wait.
My favorite burritos in San Diego. The staff is always friendly, especially the funny blond girl in the cashier. Their use higher quality ingredients than most Mexican places I’ve been to and always get me super full
This place used to be the best but I think they Switched owners because they make the food with less love.
Burrito fell apart and forgot my ingredients.
I would say go to the original la playa in mission Beach.
Just got a Carne Asada and a El Pastor burritos for lunch. Incredible! I'm taking the red-eye flight back to Philly this evening and when I come back, I'm going here for my first meal.
Tasty, convenient, consistent. Very delicious food, only complaint was the a-hole in front of me who ordered like 30 burritos made the wait a long time for the food. When it finally came though it was hot and fresh. Great place.
The best and most authentic burrito I've ever had! It was packed with meat and guacamole (the good stuff) and didn't rely on rice to fill it out. Would highly recommend.
Dang! I eat A LOT of bfast burritos from various places all over SoCal, and this steak & egg burrito was AMAZING. Hands down, one of the best I’ve ever had. Top 5, easy. I will definitely be back
I am obsessed with this place. I go every week, sometimes 3 times a week. I have tried many of their burritos. My favorite is the California and the roasted chicken burrito. I usually call in my order and leave to pick it up right away. It is almost always ready as soon as I get there. So fresh!
