Great neighborhood Mexican restaurant! Delicious food and they treat you right! Exceptionally clean. Nothing fancy, but come hungry!

I have been a regular customer at La Placita for over 30 years. Their food has always been consistently delicious. The service is swift, and the staff are always friendly. Every staff member seems eager to please. They go above and beyond to create a warm and inviting experience.

If you like wannabe Mexican food come here. I ordered and Asada borrito for 14.60 shocked, guy said it was a big size borrito. The borrito was a little bigger then a taco bell borrito. That was not even asada grilled, meat onion cactus and yellow cheese! Rice and beans to go.no fork or spoon plenty of staff terrible service. I will never come here again.highly over prices for bad mexican food more like texmex or American will not recommend.

My husband and I were out of town and looking for a place to eat. What a great find! Doors open @11 and at 11: 04 there were 4 tables filled with patrons. As I sat, I promptly ordered flour chips, they came out quickly fresh, hot and ready to eat. The guacamole was sooooo fresh! The mild and hot salsas were very tasty! My chili Colorado was amazing! We Ordered off the lunch special, my husband had the chimichanga and he was impressed! We eat LOTS of Mexican food, trying to find the gems! You should stop by and eat if you are in the area! Service was quick, staff stopped by multiples time to fill drinks, ask us if everything was okay. Check arrived promptly. When we left almost every table was full and many Togo orders were leaving the kitchen! Well managed restaurant, Kodos to the chefs, and service staff! If I’m in the area again, we’ll stop by for a quick bite!

The food is always absolutely delicious. Whether we are dining in or calling in for pick up, the food and service is great.

I am quite biased. Our family has been coming to LA Placita or the now defunct LA Placita Dos for 30 years or so. The food is consistently delicious and the people are very welcoming. We drive from Lincoln to go here every few weeks.

As always, excellent! Back or visiting from Florida and HAD to make the pilgrimage to La Placita. It had never disappointed!

One of our favorite places. Enchiladas and their refried beans are delicious. Very friendly staff.

I was first directed to this place for the good food. The food is still fairly good but the price is really out of line for what you get. They no longer have new prices online and we where surprised at the over priced food we got. Will probably not be returning.

My friends and family have been going here for years. Great food, in a small restaurant. It's always busy and always worth the wait. I have never had bad service here. Glasses are always full, chips too! Great value for the money.

Carne asada was delicious and plenty. Too crowded in eating area. But we ordered take out.

Best Mexican food around. Been eating here for two decades. Excellent food and excellent service. Can't recommend enough.
