What a beautiful library! Staff are so helpful. The range of books and other media is significant and it has a lot of local information. Quiet and peaceful.

This library is the only one in the CV to be open all 7 days of the week. Nestled back in the La Quinta Cove, this library has the best viewing of the surrounding park. Many windows and high open ceilings bring in the natural light. There is a nice childrens section and outdoor seating and ample spots to recharge your batteries!

Very pleasant library
As a part of the Inland Library System, it has access to a huge selection of books available. It has excellent support desk for assistance in finding information. Located in the beautiful La Quinta Civic Center
, it is a perfect place to relax with a good book.

We live in La Quinta, we are California tax payers, yet they didn’t want to let me become a member because I didn’t have a California drivers license or ID, showing my greencard wasn’t enough for them. They asked me for a tax return sheet where my adresse showed in order to proof I do live in The Cove. Nobody walks around with that in hand!
Ridiculous and offensive. We left the library with no books and my kid crying because of how the man at the desk treated me.
The staff was very rude and racist. There was a hint of delight on the man denying me the membership, only because I am foreign and haven’t gotten yet a DL or ID.
Needless to say I will never come back to this library and that I am upset my tax payer dollars are contributing to keep these peoples jobs. Shame on you!
