It was a beautiful evening party of 4. Excellent food & service. Outside dining, the overhead heaters turned on when it got too cool.

Del taco has better tacos. Nothing authentic about this Mexican restaurant. The tacos were almost wheat tortillas and almost flavorless without their “hot sauce”. 7 dollars for one taco.this place isn’t worth it. Frozen drink was good, but came straight from a machine so.

Very disappointed with La Rosa tonight. Firstly, my wife and I both ordered taco salads and there wasn’t much flavor. When I order a taco salad, I expect the standard shredded lettuce, pico de gallo or some form of salsa, beans, rice, and maybe some sour cream. I ordered mine with carne asada and the meat slices were to long and chewy to go with the salad. Furthermore, the lettuce wasn’t shredded and was cut up basically how you would see it in a typical Caesar salad (pet peeve but I can let that one slide). There were hardly any beans in the taco salad and they didn’t have much flavor. No lettuce, hardly any pico de gallo, and no rice. What really was upsetting was our service. After receiving our chips and salsa, our server asked if we wanted some guacamole. I said yes thinking that it would come in a complementary bowl like the salsa. It came in a large portion on a plate. When we received our bill, we were charged $13. Our server had not mentioned this was an appetizer we would be charged for. In fact, she didn’t ask us if we wanted to start with any appetizers at all. When we brought this up to our server and explained we thought it would come in a small bowl like the salsa, she rudely asked if we wanted it taken off the bill. She then followed with “next time just know guacamole isn’t free. Avocados aren’t cheap. ” The other servers seemed more professional so I know we just received a bad one, but overall this experience was terrible and there are many better Mexican restaurants in Santa Rosa.

First off, the building itself has charater. It's older, brick and aged wood. Felt more intimate and unique than most restaurants.
The food was savory and the appetizers were tasty. The guacamole is the right level of spice and it's texture was fresh. I ordered fish (salmon) tacos. I liked them and the rice was special jalapeño and cilantro, very good.
Drinks were fine but not any way better or worse than expected restaurant margaritas.
Service was excellent and snappy. The building is large and can accommodate.
I will go again.

Four of us went to dinner. Atmosphere was good, service responsive. A couple shared the combo frajitas, another had a carnitas taco & a carne asada taco. I had the special spinach, shrimp, & wild mushroom enchiladas. While eating the enchiladas and got a shrimp I noticed the shrimp was raw. There were 5 shrimp in the enchiladas, each one barely cooked or raw. I told the server, he told the manager who came over. Showed him the uncooked shrimp, he apologized & offered several times to get me something else. I declined since everyone had already eaten half of their meals. I ate the black beans & salad, and chips, which were good. Everyone else's food was very good. The manager took the price ($26) of my meal off the bill. I appreciated the managers quick response & offers. I'm sure they will make sure the shrimp in these enchiladas will be cooked from now on.

We enjoyed our experience here. Food could have been a little better given the price but the atmosphere made it worth it.

Love the food here! The margaritas are delicious, and they have a huge tequila list. The restaurant can get loud, so if the weather is nice, I recommend sitting on their patio! Have been coming here for years and will keep coming back!

Easily the best California Carne Asada Burrito in Northern California. Great service, great food, great times.

Nice dinner with our tour group of 53 people. Service was handled in a very professional and efficient manner and food was tasty. Serving sizes were very large.

Food was great.a little pricy but the portions are large so we were definitely satisfied. If you are downtown and want some good Mexican food it's a go to spot.

Food was excellent. Service was good and drinks were good as well. They did not tell us there was an auto gratuity which was 18%. Not a problem but a heads up would have been nice.

Nice local Mexican restaurant. They have a nice bar, and lots of heated outdoor seating.
Quite a big selection of food and drinks. Their chicken wings are fire and their margaritas are on point.

The absolutely amazing food and staff! Chef Rob and his team in the kitchen are killing it with all their amazing recipes and dishes! I've had pretty much everything on the menu, I've been going for the past 9 years or so. Get the crazy hot salsa on the side, always changing and super delicious! All their tequilas are from all over Mexico, the margaritas are top notch! Get a pitcher! All the staff is very friendly, kind and attentive. The food comes out fast, hot and consistent everytime even with large groups! They handled my company staff holiday party of 17 people plus 7 other large parties with ease. Overall an a great atmosphere the owners and staff have set for La Rosa! They have indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. 5 stars!
