This is the best spot in Los Angeles. Every time we come to LA we have to visit this place. Yesterday we were running late and arrived at closing time. The owner still served us. They really did not rush us and let us enjoy their amazing setting and food. Great service and the best food!

Went in to get my filipino food fix and was not disappointed. We ordered pansit bison, the adobo combo and pinakbet. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly & efficient. The place is quaint & eclectic & could use a bit of a refresh, but beyond that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and left with very happy tummys!

L. A. Rose Cafe is a MUST whenever I'm in the area. The buchon with garlic rice is amazing but the star dish at this restaurant is the fried milk fish! Get the milk fish every time and some calamansi!

It was like walking into someone's home. The front area in pretty narrow and crowded and I suggest making a reservation in advance if you can. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Best Filipino food I have had at a restaurant!

10-15 minute wait with no reservation.
Food is best shared family style. Didn't feel rushed. A little short staffed but the family affair made it worthwhile. 100% recommend to share simple but delicious filipino cuisine. Had the Buchon with mixed veggies and garlic rice (upcharge) but worth it!

The food was delicious, the person who took my order was super nice and helpful (I'm a vegetarian and haven't had Filipino food in ages), and while I got my order to go, the restaurant is absolutely GORGEOUS while extremely cozy and relaxed at the same time.

Wow! Get your taste buds ready! We ordered the garlic rice, lechon & guanabana drink.
The lechon is tender with a crispy skin, chefs kiss! The rice is seasoned just perfectly.
This cute establishment nailed it!
We cannot wait to return.

First time we dine in in this Pilipno resto, coz a friend recommended it so we tried having our lunch here, to our dismayed the food wasn’t as good as we were told. The food is sooo pricey, the ambiance… Omg, no good! Not to be recommended! Not coming back to this place! The first and the last time

Cute little restaurant tucked away in East Hollywood, the food was amazing and reasonably priced. Service was very attentive and welcoming. The ambiance feels like your walking in to your aunties house, it’s different, but in a good way.

One of the best Filipino restaurants in Los Angeles. Love the vintage atmosphere. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Street parking only. Must try their halo-halo.

We came here around 11ish for lunch excited and hungry. Seeing some 5 star reviews I was looking forward to dine here for the first time. There were only 2 tables occupied, so it is not busy. Unfortunately it was nọt satisfying as we expected: (

PARKING - DO NOT PARK BEHIND THE STRUCTURE OR YOU’LL RISK GETTING YOUR CAR TOWED.
Street Parking is the only way as told by the server.

AMBIENCE - Classic look, felt like the place isn’t well ventilated since I came out smelling like I came from the kitchen and all that smokey “usok” smell.

CHICKEN INASAL - is SO BLAND, not BBQ Style at all as the menu said! It was more like steamed chicken drizzled with orange sauce or gravy as what they called. It is so odd to be called BBQ or Inasal. I don’t know what version of Inasal this is but it’s no way BBQ.

PANCIT PALABOK - is SO BLAND as well! I can’t even taste the flavor of palabok, it was like eating noodles with flavorless sauce.

SISIG was the most edible dish. Atleast we had something decent. I’ve had better sisig but this is not bad.

I don’t know what happened in the kitchen but the dishes were bland, not seasoned, chicken os not marinated meat has 0 flavor, and overall disappointing.

Calamansi juice for $6.99 tasted like a powdered mix juice.

Overall, the food is pricey. We paid around $70 for bland meals we didn’t fully enjoy. Pricey meal but not worth it.

Not interested in going back to taste the rest of the menu. Didn’t even care to take a phot and post on Social Media. It was that bad.

Planned a surprise birthday party boodle for 8 people! The lumpia, lechon, and sinigang were my favorites.

Lovely café serving top-notch Filipino food. Had the buchon crispy pork belly, which was cooked perfectly with savory meat and crunchy skin. Adding the condiments took it to the next level. Only problem was that I was trying to save money and only ordered 1/4lb. Should have splurged.

Went here with my friends last night and we loved it so so much:) The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was homey and peaceful, and the food was so delicious. You can just tell when people make food out of love and passion. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
