La Tiendita Mexican Market

Asked for 2lbs of carne and got 2 lbs of chicken. This is what you get for trying to support a local business these days.never again

I absolutely love our neighborhood Mexican Market! The staff is always friendly and helpful, their marinated carne asada is SO GOOD and they have all the staples you need for a good meal. Quick and easy stop on the way home?

Best Rosca de Reyes ever, I never had it fresh before even in DF. Great store and the people that work there are cool.

My favorite place for carne asada, pollo asada, pico de gallo and tortilla chips ever! We drive way out of our way to get meat and etc.there for tacos- so worth it!

They have some decent meat selections and a small amount of fruit/vegetables to get. Seems fresh from the few times I've been there.

Been going here for years-best carne asada in town. The tacos are also good for a lunch stop while getting groceries!

Incredibly rude. After shopping there many times and making orders over the phone the person answering just simply yelled at me that I must come into the store to make orders and then hung up the phone on me as I attempted to explain my situation. I spend over $100 each time I’ve been there and they are quite expensive compared to their competitors who are much further away from me. Not sure if I will ever come back. Very disappointed in the change in management style from friendly and helpful to rude.

I love this store. Whenever I visit my daughter in San Diego California I make sure that I get to this grocery store as many times as possible. Their deli foods are amazing and their selections on the shelves are always stocked and fresh. The bakery section is a dream come true!

This place is great. House made salsa is great and the carne asada and pollo is amazing. Everyone that works there is friendly and welcoming.

Small market. Fresh meats and cheeses were good. Ready to eat food shut down tight now for Covid. Grab a couple pounds of carne, tortillas, queso fresco, fresh salsas and hit the grill.

It is awesome come to the store after maybe a year or more and is the same owner they have great carnitas and chicharron fresh it was so delicious they have salsas different ones, they have almost everything in this market! Great customer service I highly recommend! Carne asada, longanisa perfect for the grill!

Their staff was engaging and knowledgeable. They seemed genuinely interested in what I was cooking, and offered suggestions from their personal experience. Also, their house chicharones are incredible! They won't make it home!

Nothing but good things to say about this local grocer. The best marinated pollo asado I have ever had in my life. Every time I show up I get at least 2 pounds of it. Also did I mention the pico de gallo? This is also the best homemade pico I have ever had. This place has saved me during quarantine as they are always on stock of canned goods and hard to find items like milk and eggs. I will always come back to the little store!

We were able to get Carne Asada already prepared and ready to cook. So delicious and the marinade was very tasty. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Their produce was very crisp. We keep coming back because they continue to provide excellent service with great food.

The lady behind the meat counter lacks customer service skills. It was my first time coming to this market in hope to find what I needed and she told me that if i wanted crab meat to go to a Chinese store. It was mostly the tone she used.
I'm glad I'm never going back.
