La Ventura Event Center, San Clemente CA

We had our wedding here in August 2022, and truly had the best experience. With the pandemic postponing our original date, La Ventura and the staff here were so accommodating and helpful. The team here is so genuine, positive, warm, and caring, and truly know how to deliver and guide you through the whole crazy wedding process. Communication with them was so easy. The catering/food was delicious. Our friends and family had the best time, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to host our event at La Ventura. The venue is beautiful, so you don't need to do much at all.
Parking is limited, so valet is required for larger events. Also you do need to factor in additional cost for rentals (flatware, linens, etc), but they contract directly with a company which at least makes it one less thing for you to do.

My Wedding DJ company Diamond Entertainment just worked at wedding at the La Ventura Event Center and we nothing but great things to say! DJ Steve was the DJ and reported loving working with Amy and her team! We are looking forward to working with them again in the future!

I attended a Celebration of Life yesterday for a dear friend at the La Ventura Event Center. To begin with, La Ventura is a beautiful venue.but that is secondary to the incredible, professional staff. Everything was extraordinary. The food served was presented beautifully and was delicious. There were over three hundred people in attendance and there was not one single glitch, not one detail overlooked.simply amazing. Amy, you did a fantastic job as did your Chef, Bartenders, and Servers. You should be immensely proud. Thank you, for putting together such a beautiful Celebration of Life.

Nice venue for intimate small events. Closes at 10PM Really attentive staff and coordinators.

Great for small group occasions. Nice locale. Only thing is outside patio is very close to the street. They also close promptly at 10 PM. You are out ready or not.

With covid we found ourselves in a time crunch with no place to have our graduation ceremony for a very deserving group of students. We found La Ventura and from the initial communication with Amy, everything was fantastic. She did everything in her power to make sure our event was able to be pulled off in an amazing fashion. This was our first time doing an event in this area and she had an extensive list of vendors that we were able to use-all of whom were amazing to work with. In a stressful time frame, Amy and her entire team were an absolute pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure our graduation was an absolute success and we would without a single doubt, be thrilled to have more events there.

Truly and extraordinary place to hold an event. Essentially a wedding. A night anyone there will never forget.

My husband and I went to an event the other night and the food was excellent. I loved the indoor/outdoor part of the venue. The owners are very nice and professional.

We just celebrated my son and his beautiful bride’s wedding at La Ventura on 8/28/21. They out did themselves! Everything was perfect…from working with Amy (she even responded to questions while on vacation), the food, the wait staff, everyone! They made the entire event so easy for us! I had the pleasure of working with Amy and her team as a wedding coordinator and was truly blown away by how accommodating and personable Amy was throughout the whole process. Amy went above and beyond to make sure every nitty gritty detail was taken care of and went beyond in helping my client's wedding day run seamlessly! I just love this venue! I have had the pleasure of photographing weddings at this location and I love how beautifully designed it is. La Ventura's staff is always so kind and accommodating. It is a photographers dream to photograph at!

Pretty neat place to visit on Christmas Day. They decorated a lot of the enclosures for the holidays. The bears and fishing cats all got Christmas trees. On the day of when I went to visit, many of the animals were given wrapped presents to completely destroy, which was fun to watch especially the little monkeys digging through bags and stockings.

The downside to this place, they lack funds to completely upgrade so the infrastructure is rather sad looking and quite lacking.

My husband and I held our intimate wedding here a month ago, and it was absolutely beautiful. After our first visit to La Ventura we fell in love with the stunning venue. The staff was so easy to work with, and everyone was delightful. The food was truly memorable, and our guests said it was the best they ever had. Everything turned out amazing, and I cannot thank LV enough for such a memorable occasion.

This venue is so AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about it. The food is some of the best around and the cocktails are crafted to perfection. You can tell the team loves what they do and has thought of every single detail. Not to mention the outdoor space is perfect. It is such a safe and gorgeous environment for a celebration. My husband and I held our wedding reception at La Ventura Event Center this past November. It was wonderful! Lisa, the owner, was so easy to work with and always very responsive throughout the entire planning process.
Iva Lee's was our caterer and Lisa's team over there is phenomenal as well. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were efficient (as far as we saw and heard from our guests). We had 174 guests and the dance floor got pretty packed, so just keep that in mind for capacity when you are planning.
The facilities themselves are perfect for a wedding - the outdoor courtyard with fireplace, the foyer to the bridal suite and even the restrooms. One thing we were initially concerned about when booking LV as our venue was the fact that it is located right on El Camino Real, so when touring we heard all the cars going by. During our cocktail hour, with the music and chatter you couldn't hear a thing on the street!
My husband and I definitely recommend La Ventura for anyone considering holding their wedding or reception in the San Clemente area!
