La Volata Pizzeria, Redlands CA

This place is perfect with delicious food and amazing drinks have almost nothing badd to say except the price of everything is a little ridiculous. The food is great but they need to calm down on the prices. We all know you have to make a profit but it is a little much.

Last time I visited my pizza was burned and my pasta was not properly prepared. It was extremely disappointing.

IMO, this is the best pizza in the area. Wood fired, thin crust, inspired toppings, a really good beverage selection, and a great restaurant design and vibe. This is a great place for a more upscale pizza date night, with waiters and table service, or sitting around the bar watching them bake the food in the wood fired oven.

This establishment is a gem on the eastern reach of the city, which is nice if you're not feeling up to dealing with the relative hubbub of downtown for a date night. The flavors and textures all indicate high-quality ingredients and skilled preparation. The staff is friendly and professional. The ambience is hip and chill with just a touch of classy. My one complaint is not so much the prices, because I know the work and money that goes into making fresh dishes from good ingredients, but the small portions that come for those prices. I'd feel OK leaving having exchanged good money for good food and service, but I don't feel great leaving still hungry after a whole pie and starter. It's one of those places that I truly value and enjoy, but that I need a snack after enjoying.

Good thin crust pizza. Good mix of local and Italian ingredients. Best quality pizza in Redlands in my opinion. They are often slow. Do not come here in a hurry.

The Pizza was great! Erin, our waitress was knowledgeable and never said that they couldn't help with any food option. A very good experience.

Great, unique and well prepared food. Good bar and the wine list is varied for a bistro type restaurant. Staff is friendly and patient. Enjoyed the environment.

The food was delicious the drinks were, the guitarist was. Customer service. Altogether my first time experience there was awesome! Great little gem.

Really nice place to have dinner (in my case). Had a wood fired pizza and was quite happy with the result. Good selection of cocktails and overall a nice and lively environment. Would definitely return.

This place acceded accpetactions, friendly staff with what I would call gourmet food! Went in during their 5th year anniversary and ordered their ravioli and it was delicious!

In my humble opinion far and away the best restaurant in Redlands. They have a hand-built wood-fired pizza oven that turns out some of the best neopolitan style pies in SoCal.

They also have numerous other delicious and interesting menu items like salads, pastas, cheeses, steak, etc.

Add in a great beer and wine list and a full bar and you absolutely cannot go wrong!

La Volata is full of surprises! I have a Gluten sensitivity, not celiac, and I can eat their pizza dough without any reactions. I love to come here in the evening and grab a glass of wine and a pizza. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly; they actually make you feel like family! And their pizzas are soooo good! My favorite is the Funghi pizza, YUMM! I order take-out from here too and it is always a great choice when we do not feel like cooking and want a great pizza!

This was an unexpectedly amazing find. We were travelling back to Phoenix from LA and due to traffic didn't grab dinner before leaving. This place was just what we needed. Great food and friendly service. As others mentioned, in house made pasta was amazing with pesto and alfredo sauce. Also had a wood fired pizza that was very good and a fall salad. Saved as a favorite so we will be back again!

Yum! Best alfredo rigatoni with chicken I have had in town! It was so good. Seems homemade and it was all cooked perfectly. Drinks were very good too. Service was prompt. My friend had a sage drink and I had a vanilla orange balsamic. Wonderful ambience for a nice dinner with friends or your date.

I called in my order. Pizza ready when promised. Staff was friendly. Pizza flavorful but crust was a little burnt.

Big thank you to Chloe! For making a birthday dinner that much better. We had wonderful service and delicious food. Drinks were attended to promptly and food was brought out at just the right time. Tonight was the first time my family tried a dessert and wow.delicious. 5 stars easy. Thank you Chloe!

Great wood fired pizza. Friendly service and excellent product. There was really nice live music the night we were here!
We had a margherita pizza and the summer salad, both were good. The summer salad would have been better had the peach been riper, as the texture would have melded better with the soft roasted beet.
Prices are not cheap, but not more expensive than might be expected for the area and the product.

Not your normal pizza joint. More like 5 star fine dining pizza joint with the price tag of regular pizza. The best Italian style pizza I've had.
