Sales consultant, Brandon Trinwith was very nice and helpful with answering all my questions on the sofa bed mattresses.and with my order on the recliner.
That's why I have bought almost all my furniture with Lazy boy.

Found my perfect recliner chair. Millisa was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Chico Lazy-Boy.

Purchased a recliner but it broke within 6 months. I buy La-Z-boy for the customer service and warranty. Over the last few years they have gone down hill. The local Chico store is no longer part of the corporate La-Z-boy and is now owned by someone in the Bay Area. They did not honor their warranty and charged me $75 for a “trip fee. They require you pay the fee before they would schedule a repair appointment. There is nothing in my paperwork that stated anything about additional fees during the full warranty period. Out of principle I did not pay the fee a decided to try and fix it myself. I will never shop at La-Z-boy ever again. Their quality has suffered and their customer service sucks. Staff at the local store are not to blame, it’s the new policies of the new owners. If you buy from La-Z-boy make sure the store is a corporate store and not locally owned. I would also recommend you make them put in writing they will not charge you anything for warranty work while the chair is fully covered under warranty.

Lazy boy in Chico, California rocks. I had a very good experience, no stress, kindness, efficiency, professionalism, my second round of living room furniture best furniture I’ve had.

We ordered two chairs in July, and were told we would get them in September. It's now November, and we finally got word they will be ready for pickup in two weeks. No explanation or apology for the delay.

The sales side was good. We had a problem that should be covered under warranty. I am waiting to see how that goes. The last person I communicated with at the Chico store (Jo) I give two thumbs up.

We stopped by our local La-Z-Boy store pretty much as a just beginning to look trip. The salespeople were great. They let us look on our own and then answered all of our questions without hovering. We sat in recliners for practically the entire visit and the resulting transaction. They were very friendly without any pressure. They explained everything about the furniture and about the process. The quality of the furniture is excellent and they stand by what they sell. I highly recommend La-Z-Boy!

You can by a chair from many sources. However if you want super service, from super employees, go to Chico Lazy Boy on the Esplanade. They certainly are a five star crew! Thank you for helping me at a very challenging time in my life! Jeannie

I was on a search for a recliner chair with some specific qualifications. My last stop in town was to La-Z-Boy and I was to the point of just settling on anything. Brandon greeted me and carefully listened to what my needs were. He showed me several models and checked inventory since I needed the chair relatively soon. He didn’t try to over sell me, but rather sell to my needs. The whole transaction was very smooth and pleasant! And the chair was on sale - bonus points!

Priscilla was extremely helpful to me! Went in looking for a recliner for my 90 year old mother who had just had a stroke! She assisted me to find the perfect chair that would be easy for her to operate and small enough for her feet to be able to touch the floor! Showed me every aspect about it! She was a very big help and I'm so happy I found the perfect chair for my mom's comfort!

Worst service.
Chair under stuffed when delivered, repeated calls to Chico store for repair. Request never sent, more calls back and forth.
Finally nice service repair guy, comes with replacement seat.
Repair guy said he doesn’t dispose of old parts or bases, was my responsibility.
Really, won’t fit in my trash can.
He took it for me as a nice jester to drop off at dump.

My fiancé and I throughly enjoyed browsing for our couches here! We were warmly welcomed by Patricia who was very knowledgeable and sweet throughout our time there. Priscilla Wilson helped my sister and I purchase recliners. Priscilla was very helpful explaining everything about the recliners we purchased. My sister and I both have Sofas and Love Seats that are from La-Z-Boy Furniture. The quality is excellent. We both recommend La-Z-Boy Furniture in Chico.
