The La-z-boy webpage says wall recliners "save space" and so did the salesperson when we went in to the store. But once we received our custom-ordered recliner, we found out it needs to be 2 feet from the wall. When we mentioned this to the salesperson, she said that was normal and changed her answer by now saying that wall reclining means that the back reclines more than the regular design. So because we have a narrow apartment we are stuck with having to move it when we want to use it and then move it back against the wall. We don't recommend this company (or at least this store bc their salesperson was dishonest or knowledgeable)

La-Z-Boy sent us a flyer for Black Friday. We had purchased furniture from the store in the past. The furniture is well made and a example of quality at a reasonable price.

I had a wonderful experience at Torrance La-Z-Boy on Labor Day. EVERYONE in the store was friendly and helpful but I must particularly call out Ruya for excellent service. She was especially professional, helpful, thoughtful and warm. Ruya definitely went the extra mile. She never became impatient even though we asked her lots of questions and took a lot of time before selecting our ultimate choice. She hung in there with us and couldn’t have been better at her job. Thank you, Ruya for your great attitude. The manager Geva Joseph is always extremely helpful as well. I’ve had special assistance in ordering recliners from Ms Joseph in the past. This is such a lovely, well-run store. Thank you, thank you!

The minute my husband and I enter the Hawthorne LazBoy Furniture Store our experience was very pleasant, we weren’t bombarded with aggressive sales staff. After lookin around the store we were approached by Jasmine Gomez, our Sales Associates, who was pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable about the furniture and the upholstery materials including the leather materials, that I was interested in. After picking out some sofa and chair styles and leather colors. Jasmine set us up with a in-home interior design consultant appointment with Catherine Balderian. Catherine arrived on time, she was friendly, and knowledgeable about the Lazboy’s furniture selections and she had great interior decorating tips on everything from pictures, mirrors, area rugs size and colors and placement, tables shapes and my furniture choices, material colors and redecorating tips. We are very pleased with the excellent service and assistance in our final furniture choices. Thank you Jasmine Gomez and Catherine Balderian. P. Ordered a Power Lift Recliner, paid 2,600. Waited for my chair for 7 months. Received the chair and it didn't last 2 months. Been waiting for it to be repaired for a month still nothing. Bad experience would never go there again.

The experience at this location was beyond amazing. I was treated with respect and care from the moment that I entered the building. Instead of up-selling me, the manager took my price range into consideration and found chairs that fitmy comfort expectations, all while engaging in a pleasant, personal, and refreshing conversation. The chair was bought to facilitate a comfortable recovery from a shoulder operation and the floor model chair, that was purchased and brought home the same day, served its purpose beyond expectations. Whenever I have furniture needs I will return to this La-Z-Boy location!

Both Nayo and Verushka were helpful and patient while my wife and I were shopping for our new sofa and loveseat. I highly recommend them!

Very professional, suggestions were offered, selection of fabrics was good, overall service exceptional. The quality of the furniture is superb. This is the second time I’ve shopped at La-Z-Boy and I returned because of the service and the quality of the furniture. Even the delivery service is good. They actually got here earlier than originally planned. They followed Covid protocol which made me comfortable. You can’t go wrong with La-Z-Boy furniture.

Outstanding experience! The design expert Verushka guided us on choices, fabrics then visited our home to fine tune and recommend some changes. I would highly recommend La-Z-Boy for great service and pricing!

In the strongest terms, I recommend strongly staying AWAY from La-Z-Boy. Sales people are great, nice, helpful and lull you into buying. Getting the furniture is entirely another matter.

We ordered a couch and 3 rocker recliners from La-Z-Boy in May 2022 at the Torrance store. At about the same time, we ordered a custom made sectional couch from Macy's for our living room. Macy's delivered ahead of their promised date. When we ordered from La-Z-Boy, we were told delivery would be within 4-6 months because of Covid. We started calling in December 2020 but every time we called, we got a new and different delivery month. I called just today (1/7/22) and was now told March. In December, I was told January delivery. I have been told December, January. March and April depending on whose talking to me. Of course, I now don't believe a word they tell me.

I understand delays. We remodeled our whole house in 2022 and experienced delays but nothing like this! And La-Z-Boy Customer service is horrendous. They don't call back and they don't update us.

They were happy to take our money and make promises they do not keep. Now, because they can't give us a firm delivery date and have exceeded their 6 month promise, we want a refund. Again, we are getting stonewalling and the run around.

I will not buy from La-Z-Boy again and urge you to go ANYWHERE else.
