Medical Laboratory Labcorp reviews
8 I would have given 5 stars. But there are no signs that let you know. I know this is a long review, but i think it will help to understand the bad reviews you are getting. First you have to check in at the express kiosk. But there is no sign to indicate that. The gentleman at the desk, you could see he was overwhelmed. The OTHER office was closed. Don't know why? It said it was open on the app. So I think that everyone had to go to this one, and it was packed. And it's hot outside and so people get cranky. The one thing they really need to fix is the board that tells you it's your turn.
I was one of the people who had gone to the counter to give him my paperwork. And was told to check in at the kiosk checked in, and they said that I would get a text when they we're ready for me. So sense the place was packed I went out to sit in the air conditioned car. I got the text. I had to walk back to the clinic because of the parking situation because the parking lot was full. SoI had to park in the back row. By the time I got back inside the building they had already taken my name off the board.
So because there is no sign to let people know you have to sign in at the kiosk I had to wait behind 2 people who we're trying to give the poor office guy their paperwork. Only to be told the had to sign in first. So.they were talking people in who came in after me. They only have 2 phelbotomist working. So I told the customer service guy that they text me. So he had to look through the pile of papers to find me. Then let the phelbotomist know that my name was no longer on the board.
So, please give people more time to walk into the building before taking their name down. And PLEASE PUT UP A SIGN THAT SAYS CHECK IN AT KIOSK FIRST. This will save people time and people with anger issues. And save the person working at the desk, headache issues. And let doctors know to tell their patients what kind of blood test they are taking. On the kiosk it it confusing. Thank for your time.
45 minutes and they still haven't even called us up to get the insurance cards.
This is the worst run lab I've ever been to.
I feel like I'm in the afterlife waiting room in Beetlejuice.
I would love to have given minus. I was directed to back and a smart aleck guy wouldn't listen just threw samples in tub. They didn't even have the right Dr on the form. A month later I'm in Everett WA problem still happening. Went to the labcor here what a difference. Maybe now I will get help. Shame on your whole offy.
Blood throwing is a catastrophe, coming out always with bruse (looking black and blue after one day on my arm) every Tim!
I recently had a highly disappointing experience at LabCorp that left me feeling frustrated and disregarded. From the moment I arrived and checked in, it was clear that the front desk staff lacked the necessary organization and attentiveness.
After e-checking in and being asked to wait, I patiently sat for 10 minutes before approaching the front desk for an update. To my surprise, the staff member seemed unconcerned and informed me that my papers were still in the pile and that I would be called back next. I returned to my seat, assuming that my turn would come soon.
However, as time dragged on, I became increasingly anxious about the delay. After waiting for an additional 30 minutes, I decided to take matters into my own hands and approached the front desk once again. This time, the staff member exhibited a dismissive attitude, initially ignoring my presence before finally realizing that my papers were either misplaced or not included in the pile at all.
The lack of an apology or any acknowledgement for their mistake was disheartening. Instead, without showing any remorse, the staff member reprinted my papers and placed them in the appropriate pile. The entire incident left me feeling unheard and disrespected as a customer.
Customer service should be a top priority for any business, especially when it involves essential services like medical tests. Unfortunately, LabCorp failed to meet even the basic standards of professionalism, effective communication, and prompt issue resolution during my visit.
I hope that LabCorp takes this feedback seriously and takes the necessary steps to improve their customer service. As a customer, I expect better treatment and respect, especially when it comes to matters that affect my health and well-being.
Overall, my experience at LabCorp was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend their services based on the lackluster customer service and disregard for their clients' time and concerns.
It's amazing how the lack of professionalism runs in this office. The front desk has absolutely zero customer service and zero compassion for the elderly (which, for what it looks like, is their highest percentage of clients). To start, the employees behind the desk do not even acknowledge the patient standing in front of them to check in. Second, a lot of the seniors are not technology acquainted, I observed a patient requesting help to use the check-in computer, and all they said whenever we have time. Even if you have an appointment, you still have to check in on the computer. They take walk-ins as long as you are willing to wait more than 2 hours. They ask patients to wait outside, and they will be called. There is no way patients will hear their from a perdón behind a desk and with door closed. This establishment definitely needs retraining or new staff.
I have seen many reviews with the same issue over the past two years, and it is unbelievable how the company has done nothing to resolve this issue.
They should just take out the telephone and not pretend that they're ever going to call you back. Astoundingly poor customer service it's amazing they're in business!
